soO went for a roach-ling attack on Zest's 3rd. Killed some sentries and stuff but not the base. Turned into intense back and forth battle with roach-ling-muta vs gateway units, both players on pretty low economy for 4 and 3 bases.
Eventually, soO killed a lot of probes at Zest natural when Zest went for a big attack. soO held it off and swarmed Zest's gateway army.

Standard openings from both players, Zest goes for a quick third and soO grabs a 4th while pressuring Zest's 3rd. soO switches into mutalisks and wins after constantly picking off senties/immortals and doing harass.

At 3-1 down he looked dead. But soOjwa can't be killed before finals. Sick series.
I can't even imagine how Catz must be feeling now after soO saying that it was because of him he's in his 4th final. Really great job by soO and Catz together! :D

He just isn't unbeatable, but no one is.
I would say that it went back and forth between Rain and Zest, perhaps overall Zest yeah. Especially last month.
I don't know... I'd say herO has had a better year than Rain.
Yeah I agree, the thing with Rain is, at the periods of time he was just so rock solid, but lacked the results, herO with SanDisk victory, #1SPL winnings and both IEM and KSC finals, for sure better year.

Yeah pretty much Rain only lacked results but if he keeps up this level of play it'll come.

Called it.
3-4 is hardly crashing and burning. Calling a 50:50 series isn't an achievement (not even the score). You even suggested it'd be one sided then quote your prediction like it's meant to be remotely impressive.
Hey i didn't say he would get stomped, i just said the hype train would be stopped. No player can be THAT consistent in SC2.
Yeah, you're right. No player can be that succesfull. For example you can't be in 4 GSL Finals in a row. That's not possible in SC2... And Zest's hype train won't be stopped, he still belongs to TOP 5 SC2 players.

I hope for cure's sake it was nerves or Bomber's playstyle in DC or it's gonna be short and ugly.
Bomber stomped Innovation too so this may turn out to be an even match.
? That was more than one year ago in a completely different TvT environment.
A well-prepared Bomber can stomp anyone in TvT. I meant to say that loss should't say much about Cure's form in TvT.

All three players in question are insanely good, i'll give Inno the veteran's advantage tho.

OK. Anyway TvBomber is probably a match-up of his own, hence why Polt managed to take maps off him and not Cure.

i dunno, it's pretty easy to imagine when catz takes every opportunity possible to post publicly about how soo takes advice from him (im just teasing, i love catz but he definitely isnt shy about pointing out his connections much like a certain british owner and organizer we know)
So now that soO has achieved what no other SC2 player (or even any SC player, if my memory serves me right) in the history of the game has done, and probably won't do for a while, if ever, could he be rightfully considered the first bonjwa-tier player in SC2? Or does he actually need to win at least a single one of those finals to make the cut? I've heard of people considering MVP to be the first bonjwa of SC2, but even the so called "King of Wings" never managed to roll right through Code S and into the finals 4 times in a row, plus, you could argue that the level of competition wasn't as high back then as it is now. So what's the consensus on this one?
