This is not a gate cyber nexus build so he can't put on "gateway pressure" since his cyber is delayed 1 min. HyuN can just play a standard gasless 3 base and be totally safe as long as he scouts for the later gateway push but then he can have roaches out anyway.

I'm not sure a Kespa team is the answer for him, but his slump has been pretty long. I'm not sure what his environment is at the moment, but my best guess would be that his initial freedom from Kespa restrictions and the new experiences of foreign tournaments really lifted him motivation wise, plus the freedom may have lifted some pressure so he shows some great stuff . plus EGTL had some damn good players in that house.
Now the novelty of being out of that environment may have worn off and he needs it again to get back to top shape? Hard to tell really without knowing everything.
WCS NA has the two greatest examples of players who blossom outside of team house environments in Taeja and Polt so it's not as if it's as simple as Kespa house = Return of the Dong

I don't have anything to add but I felt bad that you wrote a sort of long post and it got stuck as the final reply on a page

Coach Park said TaeJa was pretty much an enigma
Can Taeja cast black hole?
That's a "for the initiated" joke if I ever saw one.

In my opinion he was a top 10 Zerg that got portrayed as a top 3 Zerg for most of 2013 due to his name, and then he had a monstrous performance at Blizzcon. Afterwards he has declined for awhile and is now at Blizzcon, and he looks like possibly the weakest player there.
