Before widow mine buff it was any protoss opening into Terran not being able to react
After widow mine buff Terrans learned to shut down early templar / immortal all ins and block oracles.
In response to that Protoss go Robo forge or Robo phoenix every game.
In response to that Terrans go Vikings every game.
Collosus still beat viking builds most of the time with out scv pull, Templar collosus is always hard to play against unless you are top 5 terran in the world.
Terrans pull the boys every game.

Maaaaaaybe he goes to DH Stockholm, but otherwise, yes. Might not be so bad though, he's proven he can hang with the very best now with a smart standard style, now he can work on being countered less and improve even more. He still had one of the most insane runs in recent memory, it just wasn't good enough to go all the way.

Absolutely true. herO stomped his push in game 1 and extended his advantage via upgrades and map control. In game 2, Flash looked like he had no idea how to play vs. colossus/phoenix - and wow did he let his army get caught, I think that was probably the worst position on the map to ever fight vs. 5 colossi. Also during that engagement, he did not target down a single colossus, a-moving his vikings. Game 3 - why would you ever proxy a protoss on a 2player map? Any tactic that includes a gateway and a gas shuts that down.

Game one: other top protosses loses 5+ probes in the same situation
Game two: the mines exploded on vikings and the phoenixes did a lot of work shutting down every drop attempt and killing stray marines
Game 3: his defense was perfectly executed, point to me a single small mistake... cause im sure most protosses would end far behind in the same situation

Terran could win all the tournaments and there would still be balance whine when Flash loses.

God Flash hammered Zest last bloody week and had a good run here, even qualifying for this tournament was impressive.
Flash doesn't 'suck' he's still one of the better Terrans around and herO is showing a nice run of form too. Yeah there's a lot of PvP this tournament but I see it as a consequence of the state of the game that people qualified for this tournament for, like when WCS Kr was really Protoss dominated.

pros always hammer out new patches and probably came to the conclusion that its not so great vs colo phoenix or colo blink. its great vs templar play though which is why no toss do that anymore
meta will stay this way unfortunately

If toss opens standard (core/stalker), they can hold till nexus cannon and then they are ahead by a lot.
It works if they do nexus first, but against any gate first build, it's not good.
