All flukes, I assure you He can't get to the finals of WCS America, do you really think he'd win GSL or be that notable if he never left Korea? He did make two GSL semis, one of them at the height of BL/Infestor. Competition is a lot tougher now though than when it was then I don't agree. All the top players at the time were in Korea while now there has been some seepage into the different regions. Additionally the balance conditions were alot more unfavourable for terran then. KesPA in WoL was pretty bad compared to KesPA in HotS, however.

Supposedly the Korean netizens despise them because they're A) cowards and B) bad. C) Smarter. D) Richer. People hate it when other people are both smarter and richer ![]() Eh, in Korea it's a lot more about the prestige not about money from what I've read. Progaming is a short-lived career. Choosing not to take options that allow you to make more money in that short space of time is pretty dumb. It's dumb from how we see it but from an entirely different cultural perspective it make no sense at all to someone. I don't think you should speak for Koreans. Samsung is Korean, they definiately make more money than prestige.

Liquipedia is wrong, there is only one premier tournament, and it's called GSL.
