It doesn't even matter that SKT got severely upset. What matters is that Zest lost and joins Seed and Dear in the one time Protoss GSL winner club. I just hope he will at least stay in Code A or Ro32 Code S

difficulty doesn't matter. tournaments that are 100% invitational aren't considered GSLs. Hot6ix Cup was 100% invites. World Champs had the World players play in a qualifier, while Global Champs had a qualifier for non WCS winners.

Look its really nice to see that someone is that passionate about the players he likes, but maybe you could try to be a little less biased for your favourite players. Yes the Hot6 might have been harder, but you cant give GSL pins just because a tournament is difficult. You make your tournament, you decide the prize money and who can participate/qualify.
With systems like the WCS one for example it is hard to get the 16 skill-wise strongest players. But just because there COULD POSSIBLY be stronger players that arent attending, you cant be like "well nice that all you players qualified but we feel the strongest plasers are not here so we only pay half the price money.. oh and no pin for the winner!"

Oh what a wall of text^^
Really no offence mate but for me it looks like you are trieing your hardest to make the players you like look good and all the other ones are two levels behind them.
keep up your passion though

Yes the Hot6 might have been harder, but you cant give GSL pins just because a tournament is difficult. You make your tournament, you decide the prize money and who can participate/qualify.
With systems like the WCS one for example it is hard to get the 16 skill-wise strongest players. But just because there COULD POSSIBLY be stronger players that arent attending, you cant be like "well nice that all you players qualified but we feel the strongest plasers are not here so we only pay half the price money.. oh and no pin for the winner!"

Oh what a wall of text^^
Really no offence mate but for me it looks like you are trieing your hardest to make the players you like look good and all the other ones are two levels behind them.
keep up your passion though

ok, no offense taken i guess im trashing Dear and Zest too much

By that logic, doesn't Classic fall in the same category?

I didnt know you decide what a"legitament" GSL is, but good to know

GSL Global champioship=/= Legitament GSL, IMO, tbh its more like easier version of Hot6ix cup that Rain won cuz of WCS AM and WCS EU players

Zest and Dear won legitimate GSLs

Zest and Dear only won 1, MC won 2, MC best toss ALL TIME, cuz he's still consistent and on the top

Yeah right, totally miss read that. Thought you said Zest and Dear never won a legitimate GSL, but you were talking about 2

oh, yeah, well correct me if l'm wrong, only MC, Seed, Dear, Zest and Classic won GSL as protosses right?

True

yeah and Rain won Hot6ix cup .....so, I dont get why GSL Global counts as official GSL when Hot6ix which was harder doesnt? CUz that was definitely harder

Look its really nice to see that someone is that passionate about the players he likes, but maybe you could try to be a little less biased for your favourite players. Yes the Hot6 might have been harder, but you cant give GSL pins just because a tournament is difficult. You make your tournament, you decide the prize money and who can participate/qualify.

maybe slightly, haha. But noone likes every player. I'd agree with you that Rain is laybe the best P atm, though it would be nice to see him do a really good GSL run, like Ro4 or even win it all. I wouldnt mind a P champion (though i am a hardcore Terran fan) as long as he shows cool and dominant plays.

If Rain (or any other protoss) wins Season 3, then 2014 is Protoss year (in Korea)
