Hi guys, this is yoeFWBreAKer and I am sincerely looking forward to this year's WCS 4000 point event, the Taiwan Open. It will be my first offline event (but certainly not my last), and everyone in Taiwan is looking forward to seeing Tastosis yet again. We would also like to give a warm welcome to all of our invited players and the players who qualified through the qualifier tournament! The Heart of The Swarm will truly show in this tournament!

It's my first one. Ever. Been nearly two years since I started this venture too... And I won't be doing so much in the way of casting, but I will at least be stage host / translator (if necessary).
I can't believe it, a tournament with a worse racial distribution than the GSL. It's actually happened. Nice that QXC and Tastosis will be casting, but with so much ZvZ I think I'll skip watching most of the tournament.
Umm... I don't know if the player pool interests me much, with that absurd racial imbalance. I'll probably try checking it out and give up if it's just too much ZvZ for my poor, tired eyes to take.

Because every other great player either A) switched races (DS) or B) retired (Softball and DS).

Yes.
That was Hong Kong eSports, a completely different organization, in a completely different part of the world. This tournament is run by Taiwan eSports League, and to the best of my knowledge, HuK has never been to Taiwan before.

You do know that Has previously beat bomber in a Bo7, right? And Has also beat Jaedong in a Bo3.

And? Not saying hes bad, just winning is incredibly unlikely when you compare their records.

Not to mentiont he strategies employed in both of those matches. Just give both sides the benefit of the doubt here, I guess .
Well I for one am interested in checking it out. Big fan of The Dong, and even though I am of Taiwan descent and I also like Sen, I'd like to see Jaedong crush some Taiwan players. The large Zerg count is a little depressing, ZvZ is outright boring, especially if they go Roach. Would love to see Terran do well, so definitely going to be rooting for Taeja as well. I am in Taiwan for work over the summer and it would be awesome to finally get to meet Artosis and Tasteless in an environment where everyone is not trying to bum-rush the casters as soon as they walk off stage.
Does anyone know the logistics of this event? Can I go watch in person? Is there an entry fee? I did some research and this site http://www.esports.com.tw/teslwcsevent/twop.htmlseems to be in a completely different location for the event than what Breaker posted. Can anyone help me out? I want to go see this event tomorrow.
