@Huk Let's discuss on skype. I'm sure we can clear this situation up.

It's a bit much running a 2nd tournament when you've not even paid the winnings for the 1st. Too much of that shite happening in eSports!
|
after 1 year, who care about the money clear this situation up? lmao
|
oh lol, srysly? players haven't been payed yet? Thx for info...
|
We will be making an official statement tomorrow regarding the situation with HuK (which has been resolved). As well as some changes to the structure with the Hong Kong Qualifiers Format with reasons behind these changes stated.
|
To HuK and the eSports Community,
I understand that in the past several days there have been issues concerning the failure of payment to HuK (Chris Loranger). After looking into the situation, I have found that HuK's situation with payment was an error on our end. I do not wish to elaborate on this situation as it would only sound like an excuse in which there is none here. However, please note that all other players had received their payment in a timely manner. We contacted HuK and were able to get him his prize money for his 3rd Place Finish at the 1st Hong Kong eSports Tournament.
There are no excuses for this behavior of not paying out the prize money to players and I would like to represent Hong Kong Esports Limited to offer an apology to HuK (Chris Loranger) and to the community. This situation will not happen again.
For the comments concerning the quality of our 1st Tournament, we appreciate the criticism and will approach this year’s event with the lessons we have learned in mind. Our goal is still to grow eSports as a whole and hopefully our efforts translate to a better production. We hope everyone tunes in to watch via by attending the venue or online to help continue to grow the scene we all share the same passion for.

Journey reminds me of an early prime terran.
|
Had Journey had his hellbats in position to buffer for his tanks at Supernova's natural, that might've been game.
(Supernova would've still been able to clear it, but lose a large chunk of his army doing so)

Game 3 between Journey and Supernova was really sick.

If Life and Stork want to come to this tournament, you should have just invited them.
Instead, Hurricane is invited. Life would draw way more viewers and a larger audience than Hurricane, IMO.
