Well, the GSL Global Championship operated in a similar fashion and not all of the WCS finalist accepted their seed for whatever reason.

I was worried it might happen again :/


Some of the players declined seeds for the GSL Global Championship because it clashed with Dreamhack.

While Impact the god went to both and got more money and WCS points than anyone who forfeited GSL GC

I think it's kind of funny that his order of best matchups is pretty much the reverse of his whole WoL career atm
also after he beat Sora for his 1 protoss win, Sora never played another proleague match
