After years of friendship, Stephano, 21, recently showed to the world that things were not going well with the 23-year-old Korean Protoss.
"He found him too arrogant, and personal fights started to take over official competition" says a source close to the Zerg prodigy.
Another source, who is close to the two of them, says the clash was "unavoidable."
Recently, though, they had been seen out and about, enjoying ice cream at HomeStory Cup, and nothing was indicating the terrible clash.
"This is not a game", Stephano said when asked about the violence in his tweets.
The two legends decided that words were not enough to settle the matter.
Both players are headed to Paris where an official Bo5 will take place at Meltdown on Tuesday, July 1st, 20:30 CET.
The duel has already raised huge interest amongst professionals, and two official streams will broadcast the encounter live:

An employee of Meltdown bars, whose name is kept secret, revealed that whatever the outcome of the matches, a dance battle would end the fight once and for all.
