The players that lost in the winners open bracket still have a chance since they fell into the losers open bracket, depending on their performance they could still advance to the final day and eventually make their way to the championship, its just that you won't see them in pool play, doesn't mean they are out for good.

Winners of open bracket having to play 7 matches is crazy! At least they are guaranteed into the championship bracket, but still that is quite taxing.

7 bo 3 is a potential 21 maps to play. I don't even play that much on ladder.
