Lol. The funny thing is that they took so long to kill puck that they had to split the prize pool 5 ways still (and a couple people lost lives challenging puck).

Format concept is intriguing but they should definitely reward the "picked on" player with some money for any match or game that they win.

They could add a rule giving the winners a little money for each match won. Or that the loser owes the winner some money,

puCK fought like a champ. Shame he didn't make it too far, but I'm not sure if I agree.

edit: on the other hand, the politics made it hard for puCK to fight back, really. I think I'm inclined to agree to a certain extent.

Perhaps players should be rewarded on the amount of StarCraft to a lesser extent (maybe $100 per series won?), then things would develop a bit differently.

This format looks interesting at the beginning but the if the result of fisrt day tells us anything, it is this is a seriously flawed system :'(

I think it would be a lot better if a player could only be challenged 2x a day. That way he wouldn't have to play more than 3 matches a day.

It would be slower... but it would be better than this imo. And then by the 2nd/3rd day you could start sniping ppl.

They should put all the players into a room (with some adjoining rooms) for 30 mins between each match, and film it. Then we can watch the players collude amongst themselves. Isn't that the entire point of this format?

Wow I don't even like puck but damn pucks playing pretty well so far. Was rooting for major and after that first game with that utter trash with the tank, idk if i could take him seriously ever again. GJ on puck calling him out go back to pokemon ;p

Major was being a massive cunt, and he got what he deserved.

What did Major do that everyone else didn't do?

He was being condecending and cocky, no respect for what Puck just pulled. Major is nowhere up like the other players although he deems himself to be. Windy w/e, bye gg no re

anyone want to take odds on how long before major quotes this post with a profanity laced rant

I did not know puck before but I feel sorry for him. It feels like a lack of sportsmanship, that everybody was picking him - no matter if it is just for the money. There should be a rule, that this is not possible or that you can grab money of the pot for every win you take. I don't like to watch this again.

just my 2 cents
WCS is like allowing Premier League football teams in the Korean football league... only, the other way around!

Terrible format.

This format is awful, won't be watching the rest of this tournament. Feel so sorry for puCK.

They need to put in some rules to prevent this nonsense from happening again.
You need to construct additional pylons.

i like the format. it's different and interesting. not something i would want to see all the time but definitely intriguing in this particular situation.

i've never really watched puck before but, damn, kudos to the guy. that was a great (cumulative) performance. AND he never complained about it. whatever else happens, i am now a fan.

To be fair Puck did get 200$ and a paid trip, so its not like he got nothing for showing up (I'm not saying the format is great I just think that's important to keep in mind)

I stopped after HuK vs Puck. Did Major show a bad behavior again?

Major sounded like his usual self, but was not much worse than any of the other players. All of them showed poor sportmanship and showmanship and let their greed drive them to gang up on Puck (which is the format's fault more than the players'). But they are young, and do perhaps not have much money. Thus it does not occur to them that perhaps it is not worth a couple of 100 dollars extra not to join in on the bullying on an international broadcast.

In the end the player who entertained us all night, who ran a crazy gauntlet against players from all races, and who showed an excellent attitude despite it all is the only one who did not get paid.
