If I was Puck I'd offer Polt $100 to pick someone else (I believe the red bull page says that kind of play is legal at this tourney? If not then nevermind of course). But chances are Polt will pick Puck. Still can you imagine if he picks one of the 2-life'ers? It is. There can be hidden alliances and no one will know.

Yes but he's going to be eliminated anyways because everyone thinks he's the weakest. Okay but would you have rooted for Puck had this tournament followed a straight bracket format? This format is pretty creative at giving us a very big underdog to root for. The fact that he's overcoming all odds is great. Yes and the reward he'll get is that at the end of the day everyone besides him splits 3000$ lol. I'm not saying it's great to miss out on prize money, I'm saying if this was a standard format, what are the chances of Puck being in the money in the first place? If it were a standard bracket format, chances are he's just another "anonymous" obstacle for the Polts and Taejas out there. We get to see the insane resolve of Puck here. That's a good thing.

He seemed really down to earth about his loss too. For once the "I played like shit and if I played better I'd win" actually sounded believable

GJ on puck calling him out go back to pokemon ;p Major was being a massive cunt, and he got what he deserved. What did Major do that everyone else didn't do? He was being condecending and cocky, no respect for what Puck just pulled. Major is nowhere up like the other players although he deems himself to be. Windy w/e, bye gg no re anyone want to take odds on how long before major quotes this post with a profanity laced rant

If Puck wants to game the system he should offer Polt 100 dollars to not pick him. He loses 100 dollars of the total he would get if he were not picked but he guarantees 400 dollars. Polt gets the money he would've had anyway, and we have more drama for day 2. Puck deserves winnings after putting up such a good show today.

I think Polt might pick MajOr

Polt has a nexus snipe fetish so he'll pick Puck/huk

I have a feeling Polt will show mercy too, but we'll see

Polt...he can't be enough of a dick to choose Puck, can he?
|
spoiler: turns out scarlett fell asleep assuming she wouldn't be picked, and polt takes advantage by waking her up and making her play

First loss against Violet nullified due to comeback win or something A nullification makes it 2-1 then? It would make it 3-1. Where does the 4 come from? The initial loss was a part of puck's master plan. Could have won but didn't in order to make sure everyone'd be after him That'd make more sense if the money was distributed from each WIN instead of distributed from leftover players as it should! I really hope either: 1) Polt picks Puck and loses to him 1-2 or 2) Polt picks someone else so that Puck gets at least SOME prize money. He definitely deserves it more than most, for having to deal with that gauntlet. He's 3-2 in matches right now, and at worst, can only break even with a 3-3, which is better than Scarlett and Major's current records (0-1 each)...

In fact, the people who have ONLY LOST today are still being rewarded!
Puck should be rewarded for his badass attitude alone. Great guy!

That's what I was saying. It's a smart play and it's legal in this tournament

When did Polt move to Atlanta? O.O

He's getting the sympathy because he's getting screwed by the format, if all tournaments worked like this there'd be no chance for an underdog to make it far as they'll be targeted by the known players. It's like making the 5% that a puck makes it into the money into a 0,1% in the current format. Yet people that have only lost can make money because of their reputation.
I like the format hypewise, but serious competition wise it's not a good format.
