THIRD GAME STARTING NOW!

FROST - Snute in dashing red on the top left, ForGG looking elegant on blue, on the bottom right.

Let's see what they have planned for the game that decides this match.

2:00 ForGG goes back to the "economical two rax", a 12-13 proxy rax in which he doesn't cut economy significantly.
Snute goes expo first into spawning pool. DeMuslim notes that Snute seems to rely on terran overcommiting to come out ahead of bunker rushes.

4:00 Snute is going for 3 Spines again as a defense, while there's two bunkers killing snute's natural. Once it's killed he just does the same as before: Salvage the bunkers and go home with marines and raxes! ForGG going into triple CC, snute retakes the natural.

7:00 DeMuslim saying, that Snute's defense is excessive, with 3 spines, which puts him behind economically now. ForGG gets a factory on top of a reactor, while the other one makes blue flame. Exact same build as the first game. Can Snute change the outcome? He gets a third as well.

9:20 ForGG moving out with only 4 hellions. Snute has a baneling nest and starts +1+1 very fast this time. more hellions go atttack. they are mostly repelled, but three get to the main and kill 9 workers.

11:15 Snute 87 ForGG 89
ForGG going for 3 Factory and Bio as well. Weird mix with mech upgrades but not bio upgrades. He does deny creep with hellions. Push by forGG at the third tho, with many hellions a tank and about 20 marines.

14:00 snute 119 to 123 Forgg
He exploits the crevasse at the third, and trades very well, but snute's 2-2 is coming out soon, while ForGG is on 1-0 for Mech and Bio's getting to 1-0 as well. Snute needs to leave that third and transfer to the fourth at the north.

18:00 Snute 123 to 168 ForGG
Many Mutas for Snute, but he can't engage into the 4 tanks and many marines of ForGG. Snute loses the third, but still has the fourth, and he deals loads of damage at ForGG's third with mutas. This pulls marines back so he kills the tanks as well.

19:30Snute 143 to 170 ForGG
Snute sitting at 2-2 with +1 for mutas, while forGG is close to +2 attack for mech and bio.
ForGG pushes again with Thors this time and get the third again. The fourth to the north is still up. Snute tries to stop hime but loses eveything except mutas. A big egangement at Snute's natural goes the way of ForGG and that's game!

Snute says: gg, well won!

Quote of the series:
"ForGG didn't really play Starcraft as much as he played Snute"

Postgame questions:
Did you particularly train for Zerg (considering there's Snute and Vortix in this group)? Yeah! He also decided to not stream in order to focus on training.
Why is it so hard to get to the later rounds for ForGG? It's hard for him to be consistent, and he thinks he's been unlucky.
What's his take on the Vortix-ForGG teamkill in the Winner's match? He only knows of it two days ago, so he doesn't feel like a teammate yet. He'll beat him!

My dream: Vortix destroys ForGG, Snute destroys Harstem.

Snute crushes the two 2-raxes that ForGG tries to hit him with in the decider match.

Please let it happen. I would be so happy. :D

he probably has decent English but isn't comfortable speaking it in front of the camera. or maybe he has a hard time understanding Redeye's accent.

ForGG has done a number of English vlogs, and even did short English interviews with Liquid HerO and Stardust (yes he interviewed THEM). Pretty surprised he didn't just do an English interview

Millenium is French.

Still disappointing considering how long he has been in the EU.

Then for example Artosis's Korean is disappointing as well (and one could say that he has an even greater incentive to learn the language). If learning a language which is very different from your own is not your main focus when you go somewhere then it will be difficult to learn. ForGG speaks okay English.

he went for a low upg bio mech style with hellion/tank/marine, then transitionned into a few hellbat/thor/marines. Nothing like the old marine tank.

If your marines get pulled out of position 1 time or banes get a good hit, mutas or lings come in and kill all the tanks. Unless you just stagger the whole army

Tanks are terrible. Terran armies would get wiped even worse on creep.

bio mech could very well mean tank and marine, that's just dumb word play. and what the hell do upgrades have to do with anything? also hellion harass (which is what he did) was very standard before the tank marine push. im starting to think you haven't watched the game.

Apollo on two raxes:
Snute's way to deal with two raxes is actually great.
He pulls about 4 drones to delay bunkers and goes for three spines.
At the end of the attack Snute is only 4 drones behind and ForGG's CC is just starting. (And he lost two drones)
Snute actually equalizes and surpasses ForGG's worker count quickly.

Apollo's point is the Raxes didn't kill him, it was the followup because he didn't expect/scout the hellbat attack and make roaches.

On game three Apollo expected Snute to crush it, which he should have. Snute sees the factory with the reactor, but not the second one with blue flame, which enables ForGG to go for a tank push and punish what Snute expected.
