Although I laughed many times, I felt like I was seeing the teardown of a very important player to the scene. Now LeBron may have a cramp game and get taken to task for that, nobody is mocking LeBron DURING the game.

I know generally the folks on TL are generally very invested in the scene, and they understand the fake hype casting and laugh at the insults about MC's play.
Not everyone watching is, though. =/ It's my fault for picking the wrong tournament finals to watch with my family members that enjoy Starcraft but aren't that invested in Starcraft, I guess. We walked away from this feeling kind of bad for having watched it.
I know HSC is supposed to be a casual and light-hearted tournament, and I usually love the hell out of it. But the mockery in that cast just made me feel bad instead of laughing. Went a little too far for me, personally, and way too far for the family I was watching with.

Bad game made worst by casters.
There were several moment MC did have chance to turn it around.
All I heard during these moments were Destiny's , and Incontrol to some extent, stupid jokes.

MC normally plays much better. Part of it was that Taeja seems to have figured out how to play against his style. Notice how he didn't commit to 2 base counter attacks, unlike Jajjki and Dayshi (today), and MMA (last season). MC is very, very good at microing small armies, especially on defense. Many of MC's wins occur when Terrans attempt to couner attack after surviving MC's early pressure. Taeja avoided that trap. Instead, he took a faster 3rd and even 4th and got both ghosts and vikings.
In a way, he did MC a favor. Other players probably also studied MC's recent VoDs from his WCS EU win. Now MC will be forced to reexamine and change his builds before his next important PvT game for WCS EU.

Taeja rarely plays a pressure game vP since he's confident in his late game skills. especially against someone like MC.
