Whereas Scarlett vs bomber was exciting in large part thanks to the mistakes each player made, DRG and Innovation was the opposite.
It was amazing because DRG literally played perfectly. I don't think I've ever seen a ZvT played at that level again. It was like DRG had ascended to god status for an hour before coming back to earth.

I know I'm an oldschool fuck but for me the best TvZ ever are still Mvp vs Leenock, the ones from MLG that brought a very unique at the time all air lategame ZvT style and were so freakin intense and back and forth, the GSL semi finals series in which the first game is one of those incredibly skilled game from Mvp that is just won by a stretch, and then the revenge from Mvp in the season he won versus Squirtle, where he had two extremely good games against Leenock.
There might be a little bit of bias due to Mvp being my favorite player and the storyline of broken wrists at the time but those games really blew my mind. But then again, Mvp really changed the face of TvZ multiple times around this time (Mvp vs July on Metalopolis as a historical reason for ghost nerf and snipe being almost unused in the match up nowadays).

I believe mistakes are a requirement. I want to see mistakes like Na'Vi's mistake vs Alliance. Like Aegis steals. Like bane bombs and shit.
It's a lot of the reason I like Bomber. He plays a raw style. INnoVation's robotic perfection at times can be boring to watch.

I thought that too until I saw Curious go up against him. g3 was shit but the 2 before it were just....omg.
Both series had a lot of shock to them too. Curious and DRG were not doing well then they just went apeshit all of a sudden.
