It would actually be interesting if no Protoss were invited, and the brackets were made to try to maximize the number of ZvTs
The first one was excellent and this one looks to be even better already. Crazy
You are so amazing Dragon! Bring INnoVation to have perfect lineup.
Dragon will revive esports using his own money. What a nice guy, feel bad for the Destiny BM today tho

I didn't get to see any of the first tournament. Did it end up being pretty good?
Thanks so much dragon!
Please make sure the VODs of your casting are available either on youtube or on twitch, that would be awesome for those of us who can't watch it live...
So happy to see Seed and Daisy :D

Phaha sure buddy....
Regardless, looks like an amazing lineup. Horrible time tho for Eastern Time Zones so will be unable to watch again.

What do you mean "sure buddy?"... You think there's some unknown sponsor providing the prize pool that doesn't want to be recognized by the public? That makes no sense at all. If someone else were paying for this, I'm pretty sure they would want their name out there for people to see.
Really enjoyed the last one. But one think Dragon could improve on is the observing. He should use the "following" unit thing and zoom out and stuff.
But overall really fun cast Keep up the good work Dragon.

Love the overhype casting, so funny.
Polt out already
Taeja vs Innovation is first up tomorrow. Feel it.
Tomorrow's line up is crazy.
Just caught the vods. Some cool games (polt v daisy, minus the first blowout). Love the style. This also needs a LR thread for some exposure - players are too good to miss this. Well done/

This lineup is insane! So much love to TSL in these tournies :D

Please do tell me who Dragon "is". Are his parents really wealthy goat breeders or something?
Last time I checked the average monthly salary in Korea isn't even close to $2000 a month and this dude is giving away $4000 in less than a month for absolutely no reason when he has nothing to gain from this what so ever. It's just seems kind of odd.

Holy shit, the lineup for this tournament is stacked! If I'd had any idea Dragon could put together this much talent I'd have tuned in from the start of the round of 16.
I don't read the forums much or post very often, but I do keep up to date with the 'community news' section of team liquids main page, and I've gotta say, any time a tournament is put together with THIS sort of a lineup in it, it's news worthy.
So this is mostly directed at the fine folks who maintain TeamLiquid... If Dragon, or anyone else, puts this many amazing players together in one tournament, please put it in the news feed!
It would be cool to see a Leenock-Life semis and an Acer Terran teamkill.
Smooth sailing for Leenock ^^
Innovation too strong. It's a shame that MMA and Innovation cannot both get prize money, because I think they might be top 2 of remaining players.
Can be tough to get Violet to play as he has a showmatch right now against Bunny :/

He is taking a risk by investing his own money and organizing the tournament completely on his own. Dragon has been around for a long time, and while he doesn't pull 5K+ viewers every stream, he has been one of the most popular and dedicated streamers for years. It's not that hard to discern that he would have some money saved up from the years of contract/stream revenue.
He catches a lot of flak for an incident wayyy back in the day where he either stream cheated or hacked, some people just can't move on, I suppose. Regardless, his commitment to eSports has been nothing but fantastic, and hopefully we get to see more. He will obviously need to secure a sponsor in order to continue, so we'll see.

Innovation taking BOTH Dragon Invitationals would be pretty badass.

Hoping for a great TvT later

Thanks so much for this Dragon <3
Oooo TvZ final, no P, really nice tourney, really nice lineup. Congratz Dragon, you are a true hero.
Are there VODs for this? I think there were for the first invitational.
This TvT is insane. Great time for INnoVation to hit MMA while he was preparing a drop. MMA is going to struggle to overcome this economic deficit.
Edit: hahaha now Dragon shows us INnoVation's main base is gone!
This game reminded me of the epic finale of the GSTL between INnoVation and SuperNova, just not quite as epic as that but very exciting nonetheless.
Another game which convinces me even more that 2 Turrets per mineral line are needed, but I seem to be the only one thinking so. Against a good opponent relying mostly on the vision the Turret gives you just doesn't really cut it.

that unsiege

Two awful engagements from MMA he looked okay until then.

Absolutely agree. How many scans did he waste? Lost gas mining time, lost SCVs, just shouldn't even be a decision in my opinion - just build 2 turrets per base.

Innovation hogging all the DIT top dollars and no money for them tosses. Thanks for all the games, Dragon.

Where? Can't see him Well, to be honest, Maru was given the easiest Ro16 group, and by a considerable amount. While I think that Maru is better than Innovation at the moment, both are definite top-tier Terrans and I consider both of them top 8 in the world.
As for the matches (in the finals), Innovation clearly has a very solid TvZ timing figured out, and I think it'll take a week or two before Zergs come up with a proper solution to it. Going pure lings and queens is not it. Humorously, that is Life's favorite style!

Maru is still too cheesy overall.
