It's just seems kind of odd. He is taking a risk by investing his own money and organizing the tournament completely on his own. Dragon has been around for a long time, and while he doesn't pull 5K+ viewers every stream, he has been one of the most popular and dedicated streamers for years. It's not that hard to discern that he would have some money saved up from the years of contract/stream revenue. He catches a lot of flak for an incident wayyy back in the day where he either stream cheated or hacked, some people just can't move on, I suppose. Regardless, his commitment to eSports has been nothing but fantastic, and hopefully we get to see more. He will obviously need to secure a sponsor in order to continue, so we'll see. | ||
