I want Team Liquid to win this. But I also want Team Acer to beat mYinsanity tomorrow as well (I love mYinsanity and all but they are Axiom's play-off rivals so I have to hope that they lose). I hope that a Team Liquid victory doesn't deflate Team Acer for mYinsanity, likewise I hope that an Acer victory doesn't make them complacent against mYi!
Both Team Liquid and Team Acer a teams with two top-tier Korean aces and a backing band of some of the strongest foreigners in the game. Therefore I really can't guess who will win because on paper they are so evenly matched.
However, if I had to decide I'd predict a Team Liquid victory, simply because they have been on such great form this season.

That being said, after the fiasco that was his WCS Ro32 group, I don't have high expectations. He lost to LiveZerg, lost to ForGG, and barely beat Dayshi in a TvT.
I really hope Acer draws a line here and makes a stand. The ability of the team is in doubt after losing two matches back to back, and if they collapse today, it would probably destroy their chances to advance to the playoffs. Last time during the regular season meeting, Nerchio played a huge role in taking out Hero and Taeja. It'd be nice if one of the zergs could grab some key wins.

Great win today, but it's somewhat concerning to me that Innovation has been carrying the team recently. MMA hasn't been playing well recently, and the foreign Zergs aren't as devastating as they were last season. I hope the rest of the roster can rally and add some depth to the Acer lineup.

Aside from Dear, that was basically Acer last season. It was so crazy how stacked that team was. MMA went 10-1 in the playoffs against the ATC's best teams.
If they had Dear, that would be really cool though.

God damn, not only is Innovation #1 in wins in the ATC, he also has the highest winrate by a comfortable margin.
82% winrate. That kind of winrate across individual maps is insane in Starcraft 2 simply due to the variance of the game.
In comparison, the player with the 2nd highest winrate (Vortix, with a 13-4 and 76% winrate), would need to win 5 more games without dropping a map (basically clean allkilling) to match Innovation.

Well, Snute showed great ZvT, and even the game against Innovation wasn't one-sided at all. He could have beaten Scarlett, and taken the rematch. Hero has just been off recently, and Taeja might not be in the best mental / wrist shape (he left pretty early against Innovation).

MMA is the left fist, and Innovation is the right fist. Liquid got knocked out a few times in the ring by the left fist in the past, so naturally they are wary of that and keep their eyes on that side during the bout, but then the right hook catches them off-guard.

The real prophet is Innovation, the Prophet of Terran, leading us out of the darkness where terran are balls in all 3 matchups (even the mirror!) and to the promised land where siege tanks once again take up positions on the high ground of a GSL final.
Don't think Liquid really showed up today tbh, except for team MVP Snute, who came very close to taking out Inno twice. The last game was especially close and exciting. And a great zvz against Nerchio too, a word I would almost never use to describe zvz. Snute looking really good, he could win another HSC.
