This Masters Cup is a single elimination style tournament for Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. $100 prize on offer to the winner, $50 2nd prize, $30 3rd. $190 prize pool*! There is also 400 Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship points up for grabs! (Points count towards qualifying for the $2000+ end of season tournament). This event is sponsored by Eddie, Blizzard ANZ and sc2sea.com

Battle.net Group: Join the group SEA Masters Cup.
Single Elimination.
- All series Bo3
- Grand Final Bo5
Casters: Maynarde + tba
Prizes:
1st $100 + 125 OSC points
2nd $50 + 80 OSC points
3rd $30 + 50 OSC points
4th 25 OSC points
5-8th 10 OSC points each
9-16th 5 OSC points each
17-32nd 2.5 OSC points each
*Prizes are in AUD
Plus $10 to a random player just for playing!
Bonus OSC points can be earned if:
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

For Best of 3 Series, both players take turns to veto 2 maps from the map pool, so there is 3 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, and start with the remaining map.
For Best of 5 Series, both players take turns to veto 1 map from the map pool, so there is 5 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, repeat, and start with the remaining map.
For Best of 3 Series, both players take turns to veto 2 maps from the map pool, so there is 3 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, and start with the remaining map.
For Best of 5 Series, both players take turns to veto 1 map from the map pool, so there is 5 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, repeat, and start with the remaining map.
Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series

Masters Cup is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). OSC is the SEA regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. The top 32 players ranked via SEA Power Rankings / OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion!
PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.
