I'm a fan of Dragon, and everyone knows asking him if he is gay has been a running joke in his stream chat for several months. People ask him this because they want him to be gay so they have a chance with him. Isn't it terrible explaining inside jokes? Kinda ruins the humor. Don't warn people on things you know nothing about, tsk tsk.

They just make up reasons on the fly. The TOS doesn't say anything about memes: 7. Prohibited Conduct TeamLiquid shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to monitor, refuse or remove any content for any or no reason, including any content that violates these Terms of Use or is otherwise objectionable. The following types of conduct are prohibited and, if exhibited through postings on the site, TeamLiquid may exercise its enforcement rights: Vulgar, obscene, hateful, abusive, political or religious content Disclosure of private information or content that is not your own or that you do not have the right to provide to the public, such as: personal phone numbers, addresses or other contact information that is not your own private information such as social security numbers copyrighted content or trade secrets Off-topic content not relevant to our community Advertising or promotion of third party products, services or organizations without prior arrangement Content or links to content that contain viruses, trojan horses, logic bombs, infinite loops, system despoilers, mainframe viruses, trap doors, zero bugs or similar destructive features that may damage someone else's computer Duplicate or excessively repeated submissions in one or more areas Content used to impersonate another person Content or behavior that violates any applicable laws Content or behavior that interferes with the operation of the site or with another member's ability to use the site Evading site controls such as bans, or otherwise disregarding the directions of the site moderators or administrators But lets assume memes were not allowed for whatever reason. I wonder why memes like "Kappa" are punished but stuff like the "NASL sound guy" are not. Of course you have the rights to enact any law you want, it's you site. But arbitrarily banning stuff you personally don't like just makes you look silly and leads to people not taking the rules seriously.

the TOS aren't the site rules, the ten commandments are (and they're still guidelines at best) http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/tl-community/17883-tlnet-ten-commandments you can clearly see that TL frowns upon meme usage. if you want to, take any further discussion to website feedback forum rather than clogging up this LR.
