You misunderstood my point. What about tanks? what about banshees? wheres the viability in half the terran arsenal? As the game went on, Soo added valuable units to his army to make it tougher and better. It evolved as the game went on. Maru's composition stayed relatively the same. Infact it felt like some of those support units were slowing him down. What else can he spend his gas on? 5-5 upgrades?
This is poor design. Its actually not very healthy to the game. I mean sure MMM is fun to watch with Maru's control but because its so well rounded, everything else suffers.

at the end of 2013, jaedong was easily top 3 though.
