Thats part of it. His overall condition in these last few months running to this game. He's had constant problems with ZvP and Billowy's 3 gate attack is good against Symbol's pure mineral defense. He keeps getting hit in early game. He can't find a way to win in late game. So he only has the mid game, but he enters the mid game in a worse position than Billowy because of the early game.

On the other hand billowy did the exact same build last time the played this map and basically lost to mass roach ling again.

Symbol didn't control the Roaches that got FFed. Could have sicced them on Sentries, done even more damage to Billowy.
Looks like it doesn't really matter though.
