Hyunnnn! Not the TvT final I wanted but meh. Oz is decent and Hyun occasionally hits high peaks of play and could be interesting at the global championship. Especially with so much Zerg there.

Roaches just aren't good in games where they both ignore each other until max. Mutas would have been a better choice probably. Oz hit his timing correctly, before Hyun could get UItras out. Not a very interesting game.

I didn't but in that situation a base trade behooves Protoss much more than it did HyuN. Oz could have blinked back and kept a nexus up and kept on mining.

His job is to win, I don't like it either, but it is probably the best way to play if you aren't as strong in straight up macro wars as your opponent. I think Hyun quite clearly demonstrated that when it comes to a fight of execution, he is a notch or two above OZ. Well deserved win, Hyun was very obviously the better player.

You are probably right but Hyun didn't look that sharp either. I caught game 4~6 and he kept forgetting upgrades (like zergling/roach speed, really important ones) and his builds were so messy overall.
I was away from SC2 for about a year and I am kind of disappointed with the quality of games.

Really nice to see Hyun win, I've always thought him a very likable guy. Especially since the time he managed to upset Flash back during the BW period when Flash seemed almost invincible in TvZ.

Disappointing. I really wanted Protoss to go 7/7. Oh well they still went on a 6 tournament win streak which is longer than any other race in the history of SC2. Terran has had a couple 4 win streaks. Zerg has never even had more than a 2 tournament win streak.

To be fair you can't really make the comparison. Terran could've easily had a similar streak if they'd been spread across 3 WCS's during the GomTvT period.

they have most various set of strategy among other races, but in each game tosses play very equally and get easy
wins(roughly speaking) but yes, in comparison with that how get wins terrans and zergs, tosses get easy wins.
I tell it as viewer and it kills interest to viewing absolutely.

Poor Oz, I saw his speech after beating Revival and I wanted to cheer for him. But his progression line kinda forecasted that it would be second place, and champion in next one.
Grats for Hyun, Spiderman Zerg! He has had some rough times recently and it's nice that he achieved a well deserved championship!
