Rain 4-1, game 2 will be amazing and the only map Zest takes
Rain will balance whine about terran leading up to the finals and then lose to soO

Rain will take this 3-1. Looking at the interview on You Bet Zest looks overconfident while Rain is more cool and collected. rain also has great practise partnered for PvP

It will be 2:2 after the first 4 maps. Then Zest decides to play as Terran and will win with marines only in a 2h long macro game.
Rain will probably retire right after that match.

I hope Rain can do it. I got nothing against Zest, but I rather not see Zest crowned as the royal roader. Rain, soO and Life have proven themselves as champion material so I much rather see two of them in the finals.

Considering the maps Rain has nice chance to go at least 3-1 in first 4 maps before blink maps and i guess, he can take one of those 3 as well.

It's ok Choya beat a good player to qualify.
Also Jin Air didn't do that well in the qualifier. Pigbaby retired and Terminator lost. Rogue and Cure made it though.

Don't think Life or SoO would play a turtley SH style. If it is the aggressive and active style, they may be good games.

3.45 Zest deciding to go for a Stargate (a really fast one), going straight into phoenix.
4:45 Rain throws down a Nexus, which is a "good counter for phoenix" according to the casting experts. Then, he throws down his own stargate and additional two gateways.
5:45 Rain preventing his MSC to die since he has two sentries and a stalker. Zest though is really going strong with his harass, clean micro so far. At home, Zest expands, too.
6:30 Zest forcing a nexus cannon. I guess you might call this a success. He goes into Robo now, but doesn't stop phoenix production.

6:30 Zest forcing a nexus cannon. I guess you might call this a success. He goes into Robo now, but doesn't stop phoenix production.

The super-soldier serum gives him maxed human abilities of strength and speed and stamina etc.. But, he is not really a super-hero in the traditional sense of the term as he has no super powers. Oh, yeah, his shield is made of adamantium.

I guess I'll add this. When they both opened with gates, Rain went on the defense, Zest went on the offense. It looked like Zest was going to be worse off because he was going to be surrounded but he warped in a sentry and forced Rain to pull probes to defend.
He then did it again.
He inevitably lost that initial army but did so much damage that Rain couldn't do enough to come back.

One all kill in the FINALS. Let's not downplay that. Then takes a win off SKT in round 2. Week 4 Zest > Soulkey. SKT hasn't beaten Zest in two months.

Soulkeys been playing funky recently to be fair, and that all kill came out of no where to be honest, as he was 2-4 going into it. It's not like an innovation level of dominance is expected is all I am going to say about this particular player, just another very good player on the rise.

Arguably the 2 best players remaining had to play on Day 1 even though herO and sOs were in the IEM finals 2 days before. Just a shame really, this whole Code S just seems off. This champion will probably be the most underhyped and easily forgotten player and I hope so. soO is honestly the only player who actually deserves to be here, and maybe Life but he is god awful at ZvP and if he had to face any Protoss he wouldn't still be around.

I'm sorry but not recognizing that Zest is potentially the best player in the world these days is quite a mistake and shows you haven't seen any of his latest proleague performances.

There is no such thing as a GSL finalist who doesn't deserve to be here. San won Asus because he had to face really few terrans and a lot of zergs. Zest has great PvP and hit a full PvP bracket. This isn't unfair, it's just facts. Hype is one thing but legitimacy is another.

Honestly, I am half serious. Ps have won all the 2014 premiers thus far, even if he ends up winning this GSL, he will have to show results in the future where P isn't as dominant.

I would agree that zest and sniper still quite comparable.
Not much attention before the dominance of their race. PvP expert. Good in team league. Not fan favor. No international results and fame.
Even quite similar looking at gsl bracket. Not quite dominant in group stage. Lost to Maru as sniper to innovation. Killing fan favor rain as sniper to leenock.
So far, a better version sniper.

pretty short total i'd say less than 1.5 hours. Most of the game are quite boring with rain getting outplay and stomp. Rain just play very sloppy this series even in the game that he won. The only game that's worth watching is game 5 for the sick elevator from zest.
