The first two games are clearly T1 favoured and I think that herO is too shaken up to beat PartinG, especially after losing vs sOs in IEM and Rain in GSL. He may have lost some confidence in his PvP (it's hard to say because he does seem to take his losses well)
PS iloveoov, there's a guy on your team who has reached the Code S semifinals (and potentially the finals) twice in a row, maybe you should play him more often, he has only played once this round.
Even though T1 usually does bad in early rounds because they save their awesome game breaking strategies for later rounds, I expect them to take this 3-1 ezpz. Effort vs Rain : Rain should take this almost no contest. Effort is maintaining almost 60% in PvZ, but any time he has come up against a strong protoss he's crumbled. Also Rain is currently 1-0 in life time games.
Classic vs Bbyong: Classic, maintaining a 70% win-rate in PvT while having recent wins against Maru the terran who is suppose to be making TvP playable with the combined "meta" should make this another no brainer.
herO vs Parting: This is one with the strongest toss-up(lawl) percentage in my opinion. herO while disappointed with his recent IEM placement has had a few days to shake off the jet lag. Mean while Parting is showing some shaky form in this current round. herO taking games off Rain and a game off sOs recently, while Parting taking games off Classic and Squirtle should make for a very volatile match up. Something we've come to expect in SC2's PvP.
Hydra vs Soulkey: Even though Hydra is a good zerg and even boasts a 50% win-rate against some decent and strong competition, this is Soulkey we're talking about. Unless Soulkey has a off night expect this to be the 2nd most one-sided match of the night behind Effort vs Rain.
3-0 SKT T1, even if they look bad this round lol. Effort will be worst player of this round, Bbyong will lose to Chintoss and herO will step on 3rd circle of hell losing IEM WTA finals, Code S and SPL playoff spot in same time.

Noone outside of Prime warrants odds that low. Effort will probably lose but 9:1 is too much for a Bo1.
He's on a 6game losing streak with his single win in proleague being vs byul more then 2 months ago. I think a 10% chance is pretty accurate tbh, as he is up against rain of all people
He definitely played a tough list of opponents. Funny enough Kassia has the same record and played a very similar level of opponents as effort EffOrt + Show Spoiler +
Opponent overall W/L: 46-30 (60.52%) *counted Maru twice because it was 2 independent matches on different dates in different rounds so they were unique events imo and still plays a role in the difficulty of opponents having to face him twice
It appears that EffOrt's was a little bit tougher though
Bbyong has always been this good in Code A. He seemed to fall apart in Code S and Proleague (only had like a 33% win rate last season). He's finally starting to be more consistent

He had like 10 gates + archons and collosus on the way... It's not like swarmhosts shoot banelings, they do take time to do damage, and with no creep they might get a single attack by the time they get there.

I think he would have like 80% chance to win if he had that immortal. Immortal bust is very much a snowball push, and he was very very close to snowballing it even without that immortal. If he had it it would have snowballed much harder, much faster in his favor.

While I agree with you, that his losses aren`t that indicative of his skill level, because of his bad luck with opponents, I have to disagree with the conclusion, at least if his gameplay is always like it was vs Rain. Not doing anything with SH, letting them get caught by Phoenixes, having spines die with a queen with full energy next to it, no spine defense at 4/5th, so that it gets repedeatly killed... maybe he just had a bad day, but there are a lot of things I regularely see leading foreign zergs (Snute, Scarlett, Vortix, TLO, Nerchio) do much better.
Anyway, I have to go now, have fun with the rest of the games.

3 immortals already shut down bunkers super fast. I think he had enough immortals and not enough gateway units because you need something to kill the marines with as well after you bring down those bunkers.
The WM slowed his economy down enough for Bbyong to get stim and even medivacs out so I don't think that immortal really mattered.

Thats typical CJ zergs for you. Sometimes they beat the best in the league, in many other games they throw or have zero clue how to play the game at all. Talk about impeccable inconsistency here. Need I remind you again that they are top3 (or top2?) zerg last PL?

Well the reason he had only immortals left was because it took too long to bust through 4-5 bunkers with scvs repairing at the natural, and most of his zealots died due to that. If he had one more immortal, he woulda broken through much faster, had way more zealots left alive, and zealots + 3 immo vs no stim no medivac marines means he had a big chance of breaking hte ramp which is what he was trying to do but couldn't. That widow mine did mess him up really badly though, maybe 80% is too high but I think the game was heavily favored if he had that immo and lost 3-4 not 12 workers to 1 widow mine =\

Yeah that's too bad. They should really add something to the maps like you can't be yellow if the other guy is orange. Like the spawn position : you can be there if the guy is there.

We all know Parting never scouts, herO obviously knows this, so he picks a build that works perfectly, then he micro's good but has a huge advantage the entire time.

I'm glad that the ZvZ in GSL will have Life. Life always makes games interesting with his stupidly aggressive style. Should stop those games from looking like this

I think he sayed that because of the recent + shields widow mine buff. not sure, maybe he is even right.
To the ace game: Usual PvT, Fantasy doing the action Hero moving 1 time on the other side... not his fault, i think the better player won but it isn´t very nice to watch.

Tough luck then. I was thinking that i curse him by watching.
good start for fantasy but then awful, sloppy play after he got the natural nexus. Going for a double-drop while knowing that herO didn't expand was a huge mistake. Then bringing the drop back but leaving 5 widow mines behind was stupid as well, that's 10 supply missing in the fight. Then walking them into herO's army as a donation to give away his last chance to win the game. Fantasy had a good start but fell apart when under pressure :/
Liquipedia says: If two teams have the exact same record after the end of the regular period, two players will be chosen to play a single Ace Match that will determine which team will advance. So that would result in an Ace Round Robin group i guess. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Proleague#Rules But these rules seem to be old, no idea if still in effect.

Have the FPL points been updated? I don't think so because herO points for win + acematch haven't been added yet it seems.. Just wondering don't know where to ask that..
I wish I would've grabbed Bbyong last week he's going to cruise to a cool 2-0 this week I can feel it :D
Classic has had some of the weirdest builds/games in his PvT matchups... wish he would just play straight up he's good enough to have success doing that instead of these weird, wonky strats. Oh well Chintoss will live forever!!!!!!!!!
