The Joker ruler (mercenary from a different team) was revoked this season, but teams found a loophole and "partnered" with player agencies. I guess nobody at TaKeTV took player agencies into account when doing the rulebook

What's the difference between the Joker and Cooperation rule in the rulebook? I agree that the Bounty Hunter team is silly, but Vega-RoX and XMG-CSA (Violet being a mercenary so I can see that as a violation) is just two groups no?

The difference is taking two rosters and merging them vs cherry-picking from a roster. Jokers are effectively ringers at that point, plus it causes a bunch of problems when those players can't play in the finals (see Western Wolves getting slaughtered because their Joker San couldn't participate). I really think there should either be a minimum quota of players from the other team you have to field or some other requirement that ensures relatively even participation. If I suddenly announced Axiom-KT and all I did was pay Zest to come and stomp on people, would people be ok with that? They shouldn't be, that's not a partnership, that's hiring a mercenary to do your heavy lifting.

100% agree with what you've been saying the whole time. If you're going to be getting a single player to all-kill for your team do it like Liquid and actually pay the guy.

There's also a reason they decided to change the rule for this season... Doesn't make sense to change a rule and then allow people to circumvent it. (Contrary to popular belief rules are usually in place for a reason.)

It's the principal of the rule that's in place. GSTL didn't have that rule. Just like PL doesn't have any problems with TL hero playing for IM.
