My calculations are using the same aligulac ratings, but I do them a little more conservatively. When an unknown has a 5% chance in a single match it's pretty hard to reveal that they still have a chance or no chance at all. I think it suits my purpose better to be more conservative than Aligulac.

Sortof vs nightend is pretty interesting on the other hand, nightend being obliviously the fan favorite but sortof being the rising star. I guess sortof will take it since nightend has bad PvZ atm.
hm, the only close matchup should be Nightend against SortOf. But I have been quite surprised by a bunch of players in the last few weeks, so maybe the other three matchups will look different from what I expect
On one side, I always found them below TL's ones, since they are basically the repost of Aligulac's predictions with Kaelaris agreeing 90% of the times, and slightly changing it a little the remaining 10%. I have yet to see a preview of his that actually focuses on the players' playstyle rather than the generic "he's very strong", etc. On the other side, I can't recall another caster who actually bothers writing previews like Kaelaris so I appreciate them nevertheless. Does someone remembers about other casters posting things here and there, beside Khaldor's vids and Artosis?

Yeah this combined mech air and ground upgrades are a bit ridiculous. Even on even upgrades corruptors are pretty crap against vikings, and now they get 3-3 when zerg realistically can have max 1-1 air ^^
If HappyZerg hadn't taken so much midgame harass he'd have a bank and then he could have sniped the banshees with the corruptors and remax on ultras after the battle and laugh at mass viking/raven.

Honestly, it's hard to make balance decisions off of a single HappyZerg vs jjakji match. Don't go there guys. We all know the Terran Airmech ball is very effective. Terran takes forever to get there though. Let's just enjoy the games and see if pros can beat the ball by moving around it/hitting a timing before it gets rolling.

wrong, the biggest problem in sc2 is doing that step. pretty much the same like Ghost vs HT Fights in TvP. Who do this step is most likey going to lose. I really hate this "either or" step.

This... any good Zerg would have killed Tod 30 minutes ago. But instead, Miniraser choose to not do anything for 15 minutes...
I mean just look at how poorly Tod utilized his Tempests. Half the time they were just sitting around doing nothing, that's not how you are supposed to use the one unit with the most range in the game.
If his objective was to kill locusts with his air, which he did for half the game, he should have went Carriers instead, because they are alot more DPS-heavy than Tempests.
The power of tempests is their insane range, if you don't make any use of it and use them as defensive units primarily you have no room to complain imo.
He just played wrong on so many levels. SH are obviously a silly unit, but I don't think they are necessarily responsible for Tod losing the game. I mean ultimately it was Air vs. Air with Tod not using his army properly.
Not to mention that he never really feedback'd any vipers and got so many tempest abducted...

But, herO took an early fourth, and kept up the pressure on the right side of the map (Heavy Rain) while Zealot harassing the left. He never let DRG settle.

That was miserable. BL/infestor was worse than this though, at least this kind of game has protoss able to attempt something, even though you know in the long run it won't work unless he's way ahead.
Also feels a bit like a map problem. Heavy Rain makes it impossible to get an arc better than 20" Like playing Bio vs Mech on that map is stupid aswell.

He's just as bad at playing against SH as he was months ago. And I say that with the utmost love because I think he's a cool guy and I enjoy his casting.

Yes, good, more than good actually. If you can't see the skill involved in a game like SK vs parting today, then obviously nothing is going to convince you. Also, if defensive swarm hosts were that great at the top level, we'd be seeing it a lot more in KR than we are doing at the moment.

WCS EU is the worst by far, especially this early. If you want purely awesome games, watch Korea. If you want a mix of awesome games, some less awesome games and some amusing people, watch NA. If you want none of these, watch EU.
yea, and because nobody in EU ahas any skill whatsoever and no persoality, it's the most watched of all the regions.
No skill compared to who? Obviously there are plenty of good players in EU. Do you honestly think the lineup of WCS EU compares favourably to NA or Korea?

No criticism here, you guys do an awesome job, so much so that I'm watching your channel over the english one despite not knowing german, keep up the good work.
Finally someone abusing how slow SHs are and how they can't catch up with anything to do a runby and kill a bunch of stuff instead of just saccing a bunch of units vs locusts for no gain.

Even though SortOf played that really well, I don't think that should work against a good Protoss. Especially given the time SortOf wasted while the Protoss could adapt :-?
I really don't like that style at all. It feels like, if the protoss can figure out what you are doing, setup appropriate runby defense, while doing some warp prism action of his own, and getting the perfect anti-ultra army he should just wipe the floor with the zerg.
The only way I see that work is if the zerg also is heavily investing into air upgrades for a muta switch.

That all in is ridiculously fast and strong. I thought SortOf were good when he scouted it very early and stopped at 49 workers, got creep spread and massed roach ling, dunno really how to beat that.

the thing that he did in the end was pretty well. spine crawler up, sacrifice third go muta, other option is to constantly counter attack the toss and still do this spine crawler thing, a lot of options, building roaches plus lings and go up againsta frontal assault is the worst option in this case, doesn't matter at how many droens you stop.

I've seen Hydralisk fare way, way better against that then roaches.

Yeah but that push moves out at some really early timing like shortly after 8 minutes, don't think you can get hydras out in time to set up a concave etc with them.
