desrow actually has a lower aligulac rating than cowman, I think it might be a slight oddity in my code where 1497 vs 865 aligulac ratings ends up more one-sided than a 1740 vs 1033. I never put much testing into players with under a rating under 900, especially not with such large differences in bo5s. Either way it's not too far off. I'll tweak it when I get home tonight.

Yea, a lot of tournaments have players on standby for long periods of time. You get restless, irritable, annoyed, and start losing focus. It's annoying, but it's something that you have to deal with.

So you can tell just by looking at a VOD which player made more and/or bigger mistakes in a particular game? I, with my layman's eyes, wouldn't read to much into what we saw Desrow manage to do on Yeonsu. He made some blunders, sure, but I'm sure their magnitude was blown up by the casters and the observer who focused on the protoss side of things. If you go for a blink stalker all-in, the question of army composition is also pretty much eliminated; therefore the mistakes you can make are of micro management nature. These mistakes are more obvious and easy to spot than mistakes in army composition and preparation, which was what we saw on Apocalypse's end.

Oh there's a bug onh abitation station that glitches out and makes the textures all go out of wack. Eventually, if you look at an explored part of the map it crashes. This has happened to me 5 times on this map.

and with terran, for example if a 2 proxy rax scv pull doesnt work, they are so far behind, that they either quit, or need to take a big risk and all in with bio and scv pull again?

Nah, Zerg can go into a normal game depending on the map. And for Terran a 2 proxy rax is death against Protoss, but against Zerg or Terran they can transition into triple cc fairly easily.

True. You just don't see it as often in tournament - the multiple repeat all-ins, anyways.

It is economically unfeasible and selfish for a Protoss to have more than two bases, because their bases are golden in hue and use excess amounts of electricity and psy. Terrans are allowed more bases because of their economic contribution, and the Zerg because they are the People's Army.

Do we know that MajOr had any real issue? He's been upset about how late it was the whole time and it's possible he just jumped ship when he got tired. But hey if they want to reschedule around him that's fine.

Not sure what Kane has to do with the rescheduling, that should be the decision of the admin alone. Anyways, glad that desrow and top made it through, looking forward to see them in Premier league! :D

I definitely see that argument. Mr Bitter said the rules if the player didn't return by 10 minutes it was a walk over win...but since Kane was willing to reschedule the admin said that was fine.
seriously, Kane stood up till 7 am without being able to sleep before that (he had to check-in as well), then they rescedule it afterwards? thats bullshit haha.

It was painfully obvious Violet is out of shape atm. He did ok in the standard macro format, but when Top started throwing weird shit at him his decision making kind of fell apart. Rusty as hell.
