I think only reason you would go for shield is if you are heavily investing in air or archons. | ||

For stalkers, to get more use out of it you would have to take >80 shield damage, which means engaging at least twice and regen. Then for each point of damage you take it gets better and better. For zealots it's just worth. Overall the extra cost usually isn't worth it, since comparing shield to armor stalkers barely get better while zealots get a lot better. Also zealots are more often used as a meat shield. When going for stalker heavy compositions, just getting more attack upgrades is usually the choice. | ||
