Fortunately, JD has a reasonable chance vs anybody in the finals. It's just the ro4 that's gonna be real tough

Why are you showing us this particular stat ? Do the result of one tournament mean something about the general balance of the game or ... ?

Tell me the last time it happen with top Zerg/Protoss code S players.

Lol, happen what ? He just manipulated the stat just checking the statistic of one player in one tournament .... This shows nothing about balance, stop whining. It's easy to make stat say anything. I can take Innovation matchs today and say 9-3 in his group, it's imba. And yes, I know : that would be really stupid

You really don't get it, do you?

I get what you try to imply, and I am saying that deriving a conclusion by looking at one particular player in one particular tournament is really silly.

Dont argue with him. All he does is balance whine. Earlier he was complaining about zerg.

Still not close to the level he used to be.

What? His top6 at this Code S is more impressive than his Code S victory.

No. At that time jakji was fearsome and considered one of the best terrans around. He hasn't showed that kind of consistency for a long time.

ASUS ROG Nordic organizer Peliliiga’s statement about ASUS ROG NorthCon:

On December 07 2013 10:29 ROGtournament wrote:
ASUS ROG StarCraft II tournament organizer in Nordic countries, Peliliiga comments on the management of the NorthCon ASUS ROG Tournament after the first day of the event.

The NorthCon ASUS ROG StarCraft II Tournament started today on December 6th 2013. The tournament has faced many problems right from the start which have been apparent to every party involved including the players and the audience. Some of the problems have been out of the hands of the organizers, such as the bad weather in Germany affecting the travel schedules of the players and the staff, but no doubt a portion of the problems can be attributed to the lack of experience in running a high caliber offline tournament.

We at Peliliiga, which is the organizer behind the ASUS ROG StarCraft II tournaments held in the past, have been following the event closely. After the troublesome first day at NorthCon, we saw it necessary to inform the esports community that the ASUS ROG Tournament at NorthCon 2013 is independent from Peliliiga and the events organized by Peliliiga.

Peliliiga wishes NorthCon the best of luck for tomorrow. Apparently at least the stream issues are being taken care of. Let us hope the second day at the NorthCon ASUS ROG Tournament redeems the first by offering an entertaining tournament at the quality the community has been accustomed to.

There are too many games to do that by hand, and too few tournaments release replays for it to be automated.

Yes i know that, thats why i said "I wish" instead of "Aligulac should" =D. Still i bet blink allins is on the winning side (just guessing).

I agree, I think with MSC it's a solid build now, not the coinflip it used to be.

Sad that my favourite Korean player has to be one of the two to be eliminated. In all of the other groups I was rooting for the foreigners but of course they have to pick group D as the one to dominate. :/

Still happy for elfi though and nice to see 3 foreigners still alive, although I don't think it will be more than 1 after the round of 8. Hopefully Scarlett can make it at least.

At that time the competition was way less fierce, and Terran was also in a much better state.

I think San wins after watching Innovation kind of struggle with Welmu in game 3, and lose to duckdeok pretty easily. San will certainly have good build orders planned and I think he can easily prepare for Innovation.

You guys really don't get it. The issue isn't that Terran loses. If we look at the top 10 earning foreigner Terrans, almost none of them are active in tournaments anymore, let alone being able to take a game off of a top FOREIGNER. LucifroN can't even beat foreigners anymore. He used to be able to sort of compete with Koreans. Now he's not even in the running to be a top foreigner, and he's (arguably) the best foreigner Terran right now.

There's no bias in the statement that foreigner Terrans don't beat Koreans, but foreigner Zergs/Protoss players (not only Scarlett/NaNiwa) beat Koreans.

Whatever the state of the game certain players will show more consistency than others and you can hardly say that jakji has been playing as well this year as other top terrans like taeja. Im sure jakji himself would agree he hasn't been in his best form.
