Not a Battle Grounds, it was a Training Grounds. And to be fair, the producers want things to go swiftly, and they don't have much time for a retirement celebration.

Guess golden didn't wanted to play SC2 anymore ( I mean in this series). He didn't even bothered to make spores and try to fight above them. Oh well, can't blame him, it's hard to concentrate when you just don't care anymore.

It's not that bad. They can't focus on him the entire time. There's a tournament to play

It seems way too rushed though, just give him a small segment stating "Okay guys, this guy is retiring, let's celebrate his career(lol @HardCorey, forgot the unit was still in the game), he did this and that" and done. Would've taken the same time but wouldn't seem rushed.
But I guess it's not his fault, if the production is rushed thats all he can do :/

Scarlett vs Golden was one sided and brutal. PartinG vs Bomber kind of felt like Bomber derailing PartinG's train and sending it crashing towards him, after which he proceeded to go into meltdown for the rest of the series.
