1) He is not as bad as everyone is implying.
2) On a professional team you are (hopefully) treated as a professional, even in bad times. You don't stop paying a professional, you re-negotiate the contract when it comes time to renew it or release the player if you don't want him to represent your team.
3) Team liquid has a history of being loyal to their players, long past what most other teams tend to.
4) We don't know how much Zenio get's paid. It is possible he is just given a spot in the team house, gaming equipment and a small salary for food, and anything beyond that is supposed to come from tournament winnings (pure speculation on my part).

He may not have been their first invite, but a Liquid player is probably more likely able to attend an international event on short notice than a lot of other players.

Shame people rant on zenio when hasn't done anything wrong, players who show up rarely in tournaments are so exposed. Players who are in several tournaments can lose many but by the aspect of size they have more chances to place high and not be considered bad - not to mention he lost one series; that doesn't imply anything.

Shame, especially as it is HSC

You don't just stop paying someone because they're not performing. You can re-negotiate the contract once it runs out, but Liquid isn't a team that would stop paying someone out of the blue because they're not performing up to standard.

How do you know that? For all you and me know he could be crashing at his parents' or a friend's home atm.

We don't really know how good Zenio is in practice either. Some people just chronically underperform in tournaments...
