His TvT has not looked very sharp and lately his TvP hasnt looked very good either but I think his TvZ is still one of the absolute best in the world. Last time I saw it was a week or two ago in GSTL, dunno who the zerg was (on frost) but Innovation dominated him like it was GM vs gold player. Seriously.

That was Lucky... and he's been playing like a Gold player this past month to be completely honest... His WCS America Challenger League games were 0/10, wouldn't watch ever. So glad he fell out of Challenger League after that... :o

seemed like such a nice opening from ryung, they were both on equal footing besides the upgrades.. but why was that fight so one sided? not enough vikings? starport too late?

the upgrades is such a big part in this match-up. thats why terrans are always hitting with everythign including all scvs when all their upgrades complete
dear went for a midgame army composition (stalker colo) and attacked when his upgrades finished. what ryung needs to do that game is to sit behind a few bunkers until his upgrades complete and then they should be on even footing or terran ahead enough to kill dear with a scv pull

ryung was in a good position but dears army will be stronger in that 1-2 minute timing window because of his army composition and the upgrade alignment

but couldnt he just deny ryungs third in that window and saturate his third and get storm? Cant make enough bunkers at both natural and third. Or did Dear cancel his own third?

he could have had the bunkers where the fight took place which is the ideal place for the protoss to fight. if he went into the natural the vikings would have been harder to take care of and alot of protoss firepower would have been ai fucked by attackign the command center or other random stuff thats not the actual army of ryung

no he didnt cancel the 3rd base. and yes its not a must-kill for dear but im just saying what ryung needs for the game to keep going, theres no way he wins that fight in the open during those upgrades and army values with the double timewarp
