Not only that a lot of the things you see in today's game is a result of him doing in competitive play. Just like MC who pioneered protoss in the early days. This guy did it this year and last winter.

The whining after every tournament is just the candy on the cake. i already quit this game like 2 years ago, its still fun to watch though when the best players can beat through all the crap. today is not that day I don't understand. sOs won, so the better player went through the whole thing !

Because of the Jaedong hype over there i hoped he would win, but damn sOs controlled that series so well. A deserving champion, I really hope he will continue doing well in 2014!

From what I've seen of Jaedong, he's on his best when players let him play the game out the way he wants it. It was incredibly obvious in the games against Maru: Maru just let him do whatever he wanted and subsequently got crushed. SoS on the other hand played mindgames every single game and kept JD out of his comfort zone except during game 3.
Really high-level and impressive play by both players.

I think it's time for the so called community to make up their minds. What they really want a SC2 pro scene to be? A place where the most talented, clever and hard working people win? Or a place with big stories, epic games and cleverly staged games like professional wrestling, where fan favorites usually win.
All these talks about sOs having no personality, cheesing and not deserving just made me to throw up on my keyboard. BRB, gotta come cleanup to do.

sos played great but protoss is most developed race so it has an edge in this state of the game against t and z and it is much easier to play better...
i hope there will be some changes so we will not watch cannon rushes as in game two, where you know what is happening but you can't defend it just because of the map...
but who would say sos would made it, dear was the best and after JD won against him i thought that is it, sos has no chance..
