Anyway, you might be right about the crowd, and we seemingly have similar preferences for casting. If everyone is special no one, that kind of thing. If every player is one of the best in the world, then no one is really. Hype when hype is due imo.

If banelings did friendly fire, you would never see ling baneling ever again. You'd end up killing more of your own units than the opponents. He target fires 1 single baneling and all the lings and blings around it dies as well.
It would be the same if stim did 40 damage to a marine and 80 to a marauder.

Colossus should do dmg to all units imo unless toss is immune to laster beams. Banelings exploding is something different though. It would be like terran bio taking friendly fire from other terran bio units' blood splatter when they get thoroughly stomped....
