Yeah, the poster sums up two greatly disturbing things. 1. The constant whining about viewers 2. The total lack of respect for all the players that are better than some random "fan favourite"

![]() Byul DID outplay him tho, no questions about that. Just feel extraordinarily sad for JD. May Polt Avenge Hero, Hyun, Taeja, scarlett, and JD.

Looking forward to Polt vs Oz, hope Polt takes it! I don't get mad really, just disappointed, and I can only speak for myself, but I would not be surprised if this was a fairly common sentiment. Reason being Starcraft 2 really is not that much fun to watch, it is inferior to BW in just about every way, and the main reason for following the scene are the players I/we have followed since the glory days of BW. Should, JD, Flash, maybe a few others retire, I would have pretty much 0 interest in this game, I have not watched a game of Sc2 simply for the sake of watching Sc2 for a long time now, the game just is not that good.

That being said, Oz has a fair few more deep runs than Byul

May Polt Avenge Hero, Hyun, Taeja, scarlett, and JD. I could easily say the same thing about Byul. He joined Fnatic, but never got to go to the same amount of foreign tournaments Jaedon did despite starting to play SC2 much earlier than Jaedong. He tried his hand in WCS Korea before going to WCS NA, but after losing in Challenger, had no choice but to go to WCS NA for even a shot of fame, money, recognition while Jaedong immediately ditched WCS Korea. Jaedong has had a million chances to get a trophy, Byul never has. In that way, this means more to Byul than Jaedong.

Call it "preparing for his opponent" if you want, but cheesing 5 of 6 games in a row is as bad as Rain (fnatic) and Heart in 2011/2012. 8-10 pooling is not itself inherently lucky or unlucky. It may depend on a bit of luck to work, but the luck part is whether you are lucky that your opponent goes 6 pool, 3hatch before pool or maybe 15hatch17pool. 9pool is actually quite a versatile opening that works decently against quite a lot of openings, especially if you suspect your opponent of going for a more extreme opening. In the final game Byul went 9pool and JD went 15hatch14pool. This is not even close to a BO win or what one might call very lucky, in fact those openings result in a fairly even game when handled correctly. JD however lost like 6-7 drones which had nothing to do with luck, but just their relative control of units.

anyways i enjoy watching a good game of sc2, but it is more interesting when there is a lot of history between the players and there is a little hype behind the game i.e. naniwa vs polt 'y r u being such a bitch?' a little BM only ever spiced up things

I was there yesterday, it's a medium sized theater style room, much smaller than a movie theater but probably seats 100-200 people. Edit: I guess you probably care more about the crowd than the room, I'm home today but I imagine it's full today, yesterday it was only about half full though.
