Probably the luckiest series win I've seen in a while.

This was not lucky. This was good play by Byul and some uncharacteristic bad micro by JD in the final game. Going down to 8 drones after going 15hatch14pool vs 9pool should not happen at this level, and the baneling hits on groups of zerglings just secured a 95% win.

8-10 pooling 5/6 games is most certainly lucky, he's hoping for buildorder wins. Call it "preparing for his opponent" if you want, but cheesing 5 of 6 games in a row is as bad as Rain (fnatic) and Heart in 2011/2012.

SC2 is dying because bad play loses to good play!!

Byul played better.

3-2. 'Dong went blind hatch first in game 5 and that just flat out killed him.

9 pool isn't even an all in, it's a fairly standard aggressive zvz opener

It's actually almost exactly due to that, actually. Not specifically, but in general. There's just so few people to get behind and without the human interest I don't care about yet another PvT on Bel'shir vestige.

That Speeding attack in game 4 was definitely an all in.

Early pools aren't cheese in ZvZ tbh, and 9-10 pools are easy to transition out of. It's normal early aggression, it's not all-in, and it's not a surprise tactic.
