Volunteer! All you have to do is check if there's already a thread for the tournament, or if anyone is scheduled to make the thread. If there isn't a thread and no one is scheduled to do it, you can become the LR OP! We are always looking for new people to help out, especially for WCS AM and EU.
Being the LR thread OP is hard work, but it's also fulfilling. Hundreds, if not thousands, of people check the LR thread every day, and it is a valuable resource to the community. It's a simple way of supporting SC2, the game we all presumably love :p
Now that I've decided to be a LR OP, what do I do? + Show Spoiler +
Next, read up a little on bbcode and familiarize yourself with it. It helps to look at the code for previous LR OPs.
Finally, check your schedule. Are you SURE you'll be around for the duration of the tournament? Are you sure you'll be able to update in a timely manner?
If everything checks out and you've done all of the above, all you have to do is make the thread!
Where can I find previous LR OPs, as well as LR resources? + Show Spoiler +
LRing is tough work, and only a handful of people do it regularly. The most famous ones are Shellshock and The_Templar, but occasionally other people (such as packrat, Yello, etc) do it as well. If no one is available to do it, then there is no LR. Again, we need more volunteers. Anyone who watches games regularly and types really, really fast has qualifications to become an LRer.
All you have to do is write out what happens during the game. It doesn't need to be complete, but it should be a good summary of the entire game. Supply counts, timings, build orders, and major events are typically what receive priority in LRs. You can read more LRs by Shellshock and The_Templar for a better idea of how to do it.

I'm probably wrong, but in the off chance that I'm not I will look really smart and the two biggest threats to JD sans Polt will be out of the tournament, so I'll be ok with that.

Even with the best micro in the world, this was a lost fight for CranK. He traded 10 zealots for nothing then got scouted as soon as humanly possible. It was over.
Lolol I really like Rotti and Bitters bickering. IMO it's better then Tastosis's corny stories/jokes to kill time(Though there was a time I fucking loved their silly jokes)

I don't even really care if HyuN plays bad, he just has to make the Ro8 at least and get a spot in Blizzcon. It could be incredibly sloppy and end in him almost losing, but as long as I see HyuN progress, I'm happy.

Well, if it's a choice between doing well on a test, and live reporting, do well on the test. You could be a god on TL, but that won't get you to where you can move out of your parent's house and live report all day everyday.
I think people are overlooking how much losing the gas income (long distance) of the main. Crank was on 1 base economy for a long time.
Hack's "all in" didn't kill him, but Crank lost a lot of expensive units while Hack pulled a majority of his army back... Hack also had 3 OCs to mule/rebuild scvs.
I forget the exact % that the 3rd was cancelled at, but a nexus usually takes 100 seconds. Even if his total delay was only 170 seconds that's enough time for 10 scvs (x3 OCs).

i think he thought he had the game won around the time hack was starting to saturate the base north of his main. hyun got super super aggressive with runbys and threw mutas at small amounts of marines, which seemed like signs he thought he could simply pressure hack out of the game...

if this group showed anything it's that naniwa is legit for sure, beat hack twice and hack came out of this group. doesn't seem like it was just a fluke.

Well, I think that would make more sense if Naniwa played zerg. Hack's weakest match-up is TvP, while Naniwa's strongest is PvT. It showed that Hack is legit for sure too :D

well he did 2-1 crank! and remember that naniwa beat hyun. although it was a bit gimmicky at the end. naniwa can hang with decent koreans fo sho

Nice work from Hack, sad for HyuN though, even though I don't like to watch his games. I don't know why, it's just a general feeling from his playstyle.
