Love for the dong comes form his stubbornness to win nomatter what. Hell pick a strat and just make it fucking work despite what his opponent is doing.

Yea any other map or even spawning positions and it's a BO loss flat out really. But cross spawn WW is still fucking bad but not a BO loss!

yeah. it's impressive he played out of it but realistically taeja didn't DO much for him to play out of. at a certain point, the economies stabilize and the 10pool doesn't matter. i mean jaedong went ahead in econ by quite a bit at one point where he was still banking 1.5k/1.5k and taeja went down to zero minerals unmaxed

I feel that if taeja underuses the command center as he did (no scan in the last, no mules in the late game), he won't go as far as the top players will (despite his excellent play otherwise).
Right now, you have to be a protoss to force him use scans and he had been fortunate enough to play a lot of toss.

I love Jaedong and well, I don't hate Taeja but recently, I've grown to dislike him. I play terran so I don't hate the race lol. D doesn't apply XD

I dunno, Flash is what you're describing in bold. Having said that, yes, Jaedong will win no matter what he choses lol but Flash was always the inventor(14cc or double armory goliath etc...).

I get that they love the dong. I just die a little inside when crowd and twitch chat seems so happy when Jaedong rolled over his armies during those games. I think Team Liquid is going to be a little biased towards Taeja even with JD seemingly unending followers.. but I see other places people either love TaeJa or hate him.
Maybe it's widow mines though. I am really impressed that Taeja actually microing his widow mines.. and yet still get these people on battle net and twitch saying "What do they mean micro widow mines?? U just leave them there and they blow up"
Clearly these people havent used them (1.5sec target fire which can be manually targeted OR u can keep targeting new stuff to hold fire.)

This. Also, I think his play is uniquely his as well. Like there are 2 streams I enjoy watching. Grubby, and Jaedong. I play terran. Their play is simply marked by good thought process, and deduced sharpness that is just amazing to see. It's not just generic Z vs T, it's Jaedong. It's Grubby. It's well structured and it sings to you. I love Taeja, I think he's like the terran hope really. Him and Innovation are the only ones really making it work atm, and he's insanely good. But I was sucked in so much to Jaedong that I couldn't help but to cheer for him. (I play terran btw)
