You know, being good at Starcraft is one of the core entertainment values for being a starcraft player. If he would be there to entertain us outside of the game, he would probably consider a career as a stand-up comedian.

Believe me when I say that is a minority opinion. He is very entertaining and very good. So go hate elsewhere. This is his victory thread. I didnt mean it that way. His personality is boring. The way he picked up the trophy w/o emotions or anything was kinda sad. of course his games are sick. but before and after glhf and gg his entertainment value is nil. He has shown more at other tournaments. And I don't think that should be the primary motivator of people liking a player anyway.

Maybe some nerds here need to breath some fresh air and learn a bit about real life and empathy... Ofc it matter. You guys fighting for nothing, instead of breath some fresh air

But it should not be the main way we determine, whether or not someone is boring.

Predicted winner from day 1! :p
though I did think Hyun would take it if he got past Nani.
Zealously must be rubbing his nips somewhere in ecstasy at these results.

Never saw Maru raise his baby sister in triumph?

I was so delighted at the result of the final. As much due to the fact that I wanted Life to win, as due to the fact that I wanted NaNiwa to lose. Yes, I admit I dislike the man and don't wish him well in his SC2 career. This having been said, however, I must admit that the way he played the two games that he won impressed me a lot. I know he's a top class player, but his performance in the final was more than top class. He would have taken first spot against any other zerg.

just a great event. ToD's insights were great. Apollo was rock solid as usual...Smix' interviews were great.
the games themselves were great.
Mr. Browder, Mr. Kim, Mr. Morhaime take a bow.
As far as Naniwa goes. If the Protoss had their own A-Team he'd be Hannibal Smith.
Thanks for the entertaining time.

Nice to see a positive comment, for a change.
I agree, awesome event. Liked the casting, liked the production, liked the games (wouldn't have minded a few more Terrans, but hey).
Also, SpiderHyun. Yeah. Enough to make the whole thing memorable.

Guy how do I time-stamp a twitch video? I wanna skip to the end where I come out of the back with Huk and start dancing to Smix's beautiful singing.

Just for some info from a guy at the event, how was the energy? Majority of people there SC2 fans or comic con goers? SC2 confirmed alive and kicking?

Damn, I regret not getting up to watch this.

I don't watch very many tournament casts but I enjoyed the hell out of this finals, and I usually am uninterested in any game w/o a Terran in it :-P

You do realize that almost everything he did in today's finals was for entertainment value only, because of his overwhelming confidence of NaNiWa?
He took Nani very lightly, not because he thought Nani was bad or anything negative like that, but because he was that confident. Because of that confidence, he have us so many things that we don't normally see, all just for the sake of entertaining the fans.
You, my friend, are either not so bright or just didn't watch any of his games.
