I can't believe Bizzard and DH don't have some arrangement in place for situations like this. Whitelisting some IP addresses shouldn't be taking so long. Also why don't they have any protection in place against denial of service attacks. This is very sloppy imho

Tweet this @Blizzard and @Starcraft, whining in an LR thread doesn't accomplish anything.

They have explained the issues but they can't know for sure when they'll be able to fix them to update the schedule.

A part of me really hopes this type of problem will surface again in Blizzcon...

Or you could stop being an ignorant xenophobe, this has nothing to do with the quality of Romanian internet.

I thought I read once they require armed guards to guard it so it doesn't get stolen. Seems like a hassle.

the original IP was on a whitelist for VIPs and events, which bypass the bruteforce login protection we need to get the new IP on this list, which won't happen soon since blizzard doesn't care about europe

In Flames is quite well known in the metal scene. At least in Austria.

Internet is fine but battle.net doesnt work. Do you see the difference now? It has nothing to do with the country and only Blizzard can say when battle.net works.

Well In Flames are just known all around.
