Incidentally, I'm 100% happy with things as they are, and I really appreciate the labor of love that you guys do in making the OPs for LR threads. But the discussion earlier in the thread made me wonder if that might be worth trying.
I originally made 4 different OPs for each group, but I realized that the standard was to make one thread for the entire day, since that's the way it's always been for MLGs, Dreamhacks, and other weekenders. The rationale is to keep all the HYPE and discussion in one thread, since the entire day is connected (Ro8 matchups, etc). I did consider it, but decided that it would be better to have one mega thread, since that feels more worthy of this grand event. It is a possibility, if only there could be 4 certain and reliable OPs.
The detailed OP in one thread is also a possibility if someone wants the responsibility. I'm more than happy to hand over the reins for the OP.

I hope either MC, First, or Bomber wins the whole thing :o
First is probably the most likely of the bunch. Though, I'm not sure he'll make it out of his group, he's capable of playing at a champion-class level if he brings his best. He hasn't shown great consistency in PvT though, it's like he hovers between god-tier and average

I don't think a player like Maru will be at his strongest in this kind of tournament. He seems to be the best when he has the most time to prepare. He should still dominate his group, though.
So I think Innovation will have a good chance to win the whole thing.

idk, I think Polt, Bomber, Taeja, and even Rain could all stop Bogus from repeating. Possibly even First.
