I think it was a big big mistake of Liquid to send out Ret second vs Dayshi who is a zerg sniper. That will most likely loose them the game.

If they send out herO earlier they could send now TLO or Ret vs ForGG and would still have an aceplacyer.

Don't understand the decision to send a zerg vs a zergsniper. Even the casters were really surprised.

It's quite possible that they had counter/prepared builds vs Dayshi. They knew that they would have to face Dayshi and possibly Forgg, so it makes sense that they would have some builds ready.

But he is famous for his TvZ. And Ret did not pull off any special build.

Dayshi even said he would love to face Acer cause they got so many Zergs. His TvZ is just really really good.

Also forGGs TvZ is really bad compared to his TvT. This one decision to send a zerg vs a zerg sniper caused them to send a terran vs a terransnuper later. If you send out herO earlier you can have one player more left and can send out a Zerg vs forGG later and test his TvZ.

That way liquid would have a chance to win, but if you give Millenium the exact match ups they want it becomes really really hard. 2 TvZ for Dayshi and 2 TvTs for forGG. Millenium can't wish any better^^

A TLO roach bust would probably have been a good pick against ForGG but it was too late for that with only one life left (is Neo good for that strategy?)

If they have to fly out all those people to be able to play in ATC (they need 4 people) then they might as well use them.

With that cliff, roach bust is probably worst on this map. That being said, you ofcourse then actually need to have tanks out :D

Feels like a lack of preparation from TaeJa/TL here. ForGG always plays the same build order in TvT. Always. Gas 15 expand into Hellions + Viking/Raven, then swap for Cloak Banshee. If you open Cloak Banshee, the best way to transition against that is to go for a Marines/Tanks/Banshees push like Maru did vs Newkirk on Bogus. Guaranteed win or heavy damage.

This is a perfect summary. For me Liquid's lineup is ahead of Millenium's one but they're giving the match strategically.

The 3-bases variant is a nightmare to defend with the open space between the natural and the third.

Ret is hollandese? He can drive over there in 1-3 hours.^^

I am jsut convinced that Liquids coach did the wrong decisions and therefore liquid lost. Sending a zerg vs a zerg sniper and thus forcing you to send a terran twice vs a terransniper.

I mean Liquid had the right Lineup to beat Millenium. You just have to send the right players out at the right time.
