And you have to consider, atm there is a Starcraft 2 tournament going on for almost 24h 5 days a week. Here in Europe it's 11:00 until about 16:00 the GSL/OSL, then 17:00 - 22:00 the european WCS and afterwards from 23:00 - 04:00 USA... And even I won't ever watch every single game, because it's just too much. We'd be watching Starcraft 15h a day :-P
Ti3 should be compared with the Global finals at Blizzcon, because that's the equivalent, and alone because it's at Blizzcon, the tournament will get a decent amount of viewers. Probably not as much as Ti3... but definitely a lot.
