SKT took STX to ace matches both times...they just got edged out by STX's stronger ace, Innovation. KT's supporting squad really disappointed this time, especially Zest, who's had an awful playoff run despite his previously good stats (an almost 70% winrate according to liquipedia through the regular season rounds, with 75% PvP winrate).

These results are eerily similar to yesterday's results...

ktflash was gone when KT lost 3-4 with flash losing twice in the last BW finals

Aw god damn it KT T.T If i was Flash i would be super mad right now. Maybe next year :>

KT would do good to refresh their squad a bit. Stats/zest/flash did well, crazy/hitman are 'ok' but the rest is awful. Plenty of good players that would be good pickups that can probably be enticed to play in PL, players like hyun or yugioh for example.

Zest is now 0-7 in post season games(since BW). KT should only use him in regular matches and field Hoejja instead next time they reach the playoffs.

Poor flash, he should join a winning team

Pretty underwhelming playoffs so far -.-

I didn't find them to be underwhelming. Some of the players are always a pleasure to watch. One reason that I love proleague is that sometimes over the course of a normal game, there will be moments when you (and sometimes the commentators) are left speechless.
A side effect of the quick 4-1 matches is that STX didn't have to show as much prior to the finals. This might help offset WJS numerous advantages going into the finals (prep time + watching playoffs + deep roster + Ryu Won).
It's also interesting that, after Tuesday, one of the two finals teams will have zero players remaining in OSL.

I guess every team except the winner is not very good? "About equal" in the sense that they got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, going 0-2 in sets, while their opponents are now in the finals having not yet lost a set.
Numbers are a hell of a drug.
SKT put up a good fight but at the end of the day it was BeSt and soO who kept their hopes alive, in Hoejja-like fashion. Both were sub-50% during the season. I admire the clutchness but it doesn't reflect on the general state of the team. The rest of the games were mostly PvPs flipping back and forth, I guess. Except that Rain went 0-3, bless his heart.

By "KT supporting squad" you mean everyone on the team who isn't Flash, right? I like Wooki but they've really been leaning on him.
