Code A RO32 matches start today, and we have 4 of them:
DongRaeGu vs YugiOh First up is a zvz between the old veteran drg and young blood Yugioh(this sounded cooler even though he's a veteran) We all know DRG has not done too well in HotS he didn't drop down to Code B which is good, but unless he can show us an improved form then what he has shown before I do not seem him likely to win this, However if he were to win it would be here in ZvZ where timings are quite prevalent and 1 mistake can cost you everything.
Next up is a TvP. Pigbaby the undefeated man so far in televised HotS games he's 5-0 and then we have the erratic GuMiho. This could really go either way but GuMiho's TvP record is too hard to argue against.
Prediction GuMiho 2-1 Pigbaby(aka HS)
EffOrt vs YoDa What we saw just a few days ago was the potential of YoDa when he all-killed AZUBU including Symbol, combine this with the fact that Effort doesn't have very good ZvT and this should be an easy victory for the LG-IM terran.
Prediction YoDa 2-0 Effort
sOs vs Ruin After the pre-season where we saw Ruin play a great PvT against MMA and then a loss in the regular season to Lucky, we haven't really seen him play in the GSTL other than those two times.
He won a PvP against his startale counterpart rookie Balloon, however that does not tell us much, versing sOs this will be a challenge he will not be able to meet.

You're crazy, Gumiho will crush this fool, 2-0!
You're crazy. Have you seen how completely one-sided every Pigbaby game is? Pigbaby will probably be the WCS Korea Season 3 champion at this rate.
Only one I'm fairly uncertain of is DRG vs YugiOh, because DRG has been struggling in the match-up lately. But he does seem more solid than YugiOh on a given day, so I'll have to give the predicted win to him.

that was also bo1 and i think ZvZ may be DRG's best right now too. If DRG is on point he will win (too bad he hasnt been on point in HotS yet)

Disregarding upgrades, I think DRG has a stronger army. Yugioh has so many mutalisks that are dead supply.
EDIT: Splitting up your army appears to be the thing NOT to do there.

DRG is less prepared and didn't even kill a base. Yugioh's ahead.

And then he kills two hatches d'oh
You just activated Yugioh's trap card.
Wouldn't it be DRG's in this instance? Or are we saying "You just activated _____'s trap card!" as much as possible?
whaaaaaat that somehow worked for drg and now the supplies are even because DRG was just powering drones and yugiho is afraid to engage.
DRG does actually still have a really good army because he has infestors + hydras and roaches witch should beat just pure roach but yugiho looks like he's just trying to buy enough time to get swarmhosts out
DRG catches all of the mutalisks!!!!! now he's pushing in but for some reason he has a bunch of infestors

Besides, what a dope storyline. The old champion of yore trying, as ever, to regain form. On the other side, from the foreign team, the spiky up and comer, constantly playing an interesting style but pocked with inconcsistency.

isn't " meh " just the same as " no " ? at least that's how I perceive it
would you rather I do star ratings from 1 - 5? :O also "meh" means the game was alright but not good or bad
I always go with "If you have time", because it suggests that you can see it if you have nothing else to do since it wasn't that bad, but isn't essential viewing

DRG, it might be time to step down. He's already made a great amount of cash to pursue an education :/. Hate seeing an old great perform so poorly. Reminds me of Alan Webb.
Seems cruel to ask for DRG to already retire when he just reached a roadblock in his results. He still is young and has a strong teamhouse to improve, and its not like once a player slumps, they should be considered ready to quit.

More in drops and stuff. Observers are slow so you have to abuse the difference in speed between medivacs and observers. widow mines are really annoying to deal with when they are everywhere; until they get observer speed they are a huge pain.
Well I guess it makes sense you'll get 2-0ed when you have the weirdest name I've ever seen. Jinair Greenwings PigBaby? Sounds like someone I'd run into on ladder to be honest.

As in Gumiho was mocking Pigbaby by showing his hiney to him. He was doing this specifically as a reference to the juvenile character expected of a unique piglet, known as "pigbaby" and also because he already made him (the piglet) look like a fool.

I don't expect Flash to lose to Bbyong
With the way Flash is playing these days, I can't even be sure of that anymore.
Yoda is so stupidly fast that once he gets over his nerves and starts playing solidly he looks pretty much unbeatable. We saw the huge jump in playing ability from game 1 to game 2 in the gstl, hopefully he can do it again now :D
I'd be pretty interested to see the difference in minerals per second with that opening vs a hatch first opening. Obviously terran is pretty far ahead, but on the other hand zerg has fantastic scouting, has kept terran confined to one base, and has extra production via queens.

Effort is standing strong, I feel like if he can harass Yoda's third a little, and keep his own 4th up he's definitely got a good shot at winning this.
I really think yodas biggest weakness is his inconsistency. He's displayed such amazing macro multitasking and micro before, that to see something like this is really sad.

pretty much every good player's biggest problem is inconsistency
I was thinking about giving effort the 2-1 over as YoDa is known to screw up a lot. However I thought better and gave him the benefit of the doubt and had faith he would have fixed whatever his problem is :/

I guess. Yodas peak is so high, and his low is like what we saw last game. The difference between an inform yoda and an out of form yoda is immense.

wow fuck all of you effort is an amazing player and he well deserved to win. his strength is probably not being afraid to play vs a terran on even economy, waiting until he can expand safely and boost his econ.
look at efforts game plan: lings > blings > mutas . so normal and yet he played it so well with constant counter attacks which REALLY threw yoda off.
yoda is playing a little differently this time tho,
effort is just playing on a different level. thats probably cause he's an OSL champion

Same map. Same positions. The difference is Losira didn't scout the proxy reaper so Supernova' opening did much more damage.
I remember that now. Those reapers lived forever IIRC. I was rooting for LosirA and smashing my head against my desk the whole time. Didn't he build a bunker in his base?
Why does Khaldor obssess over having supply depots down during runbys? It's completely impractical to have them hotkeyed to lower them "in time".. their reaction time would literally have to be less than 0.5 seconds (by the time they get into the sight radius of the depots)

Yea, brilliant move to limit creep and set up for the bunker double drop later.
EffOrt got supply blocked probably a total of 2 minutes that game. He wasn't transitioning to higher tech units but had a ridiculous bank. His control versus YoDa's lack of attention won him both games.
Bad few days for IM recently. Mvp and KangHo did not go far in the IEM Shanghai qualifiers and now YoDa fell to his own play in OSL. At least there is always First to keep the spirits up.

Rain, Symbol & Yoda today didnt choke, they just played terribly
What in the world is a choke if not playing terribly compared to how you normally play? Symbol having 2k/1k and not getting upgrades despite having a hive and 2 evolution chambers? Yoda's gameplay today? Rain going from regular season to the play offs is a pretty big difference.

you choke when you throw away a big advantage and lose a win-game. Floating banks & lacking upgrade through-out the game means you just play bad all around anyway thats a vague term. Im talking about in-game scale only
