Well sorry but how on earth can a team be allowed to field the same player in a team vs team game....Root roster is much bigger than just 5 players....Catz himself can still play at a decent level ffs, so stupid.

I hate when things like this happens, it's like someone being able to take a penalty twice in a penalty shoot out in football or sub being subbed being subbed. It just doesn't happen because it is unfair and not how a "team" game works ;_; Especially when the team in question has a roster of 11....

And im not bitching because of the result, fair play to Root for beating TL thats a very good result, but an 11man roster had to field a guy twice :S vs TL who have a 7 man roster with 1 currently AWOL due to his wrist issues, so technically a 6man team who are all in Korea (or the majority) and still managed to field 6 different players ;_;

Indeed another point from Malin, not only was it a player playing twice, it was arguably ROOTs best player playing twice "/

I agree that the rule with multiple revives is awful, but you can't blame ROOT for playing to win. Shame on TL for not fielding Taeja twice, along with Hero.

If the rule was created to allow teams with small rosters to compete, I'd much rather just have a bo5 with no revives.

I didn't think the "revive" rule worked in this tournament. I have looked for a rule list but i haven't seen any yet. The only thing i see is that this is based on the pro league. U name 5 starters, 1-5 position, hand it in to EG rep/tourney admin, so does the other team then the matches are played like that. Then u announce Ace to an admin and they play vs eachother. How can you "revive" a player in an SPL format team league i don't know!

Indeed after reading Incontrols post on it again, i see nothing where it says about any "revives" and just 1v1 stuff etc

If you want people to watch this you either need a better timeslot OR there need to be Twitch vods and they should be available immediately after the cast is done.

I realize you want clicks on your Youtube channel, but there's no way people are gonna watch this match cut in 6 or 7 different videos.

Edit: Just found out these games are casted from months old replays anyway, so nevermind, not gonna watch that.

Yeah, the longer the wait between broadcasts and VODs is, the more people refuse to care about the league.

Didn't watch, but I noticed players played more than once similar to that silly ATC thing. I'd like to see that rule set lol. I'm really against such a thing. Don't know why you boys didn't go with the old WGTour format like you did with the Masters Cup but whatever.

Good series, I only watched the first 2 matches time zone sucks. Teamleague stuff is more interesting than the WCS NA, because it is really just becoming a korean league, at least this league lets me see some of my favorite players. Should I be surpised root beat liquid?

All these games were 3 weeks old and tlos game were 5 weeks old so this was when Hero just got back from NA for wcs not the finals maybe ro16 and before tlo even started his strict practice regiment and ect I feel like if the games were more recent like palyed today LIquid would take it no problem

It's a shame so many people are basically not going to watch this tournament because of the old replay thing, when it is literally only going to happen this week :/.

I also don't understand all the hate on the revive rule. Two teams wouldn't be able to play without it, and it'd be unfair to other teams to only apply the rule to those two teams.

Fielding the same player twice is unfair in proleague format (disregarding ace match of course). Imagine if KT could field Flash twice every match? It lessens the variety for the matches because then every team would just field their best player twice every time, easier to arrange and more likely to collect points. Teams with rosters that are too small should've been forced to buddy up with another team to enter the league in the first place.

Assuming from now on, the play the games on a week-by-week basis, it should be good enough to keep down the complaints onwards.

Ohh. Na'Vi and Axiom, so silly. They should of merged those two teams and invited another western team instead.

awesome format. Normally, we'd have a Taeja all kill, but now we actually get to see which team is the strongest overall.

It's a bit impractical for Axiom to join with Navi or another team as they're Korean-only and communicating and deciding on lineups would be weird.

I suppose they could have gone with Acer as they already have the experience of playing together and there's MMA, but Acer might have wanted their own players to gain exposure that otherwise wouldn't get much play time in Axiom-Acer.

Honestly, I still don't see a huge issue because it strikes a balance between deep line-ups and one ace line-ups. That one player can still only do so much for your team, if KT played Flash twice every match, it would basically be the equivalent of them always being pushed the ace match and running him that way. You don't call bullshit if KT gets pushed to the ace constantly because they get to use Flash again, it seems like a bit of a non-issue to me. You can label it a number of things, but I genuinely don't see how it is "unfair" to anyone since every team has the opportunity to do it.

I'm fine with a balance between the one-man carry of an all-kill format and the inability for one player to dominate with just one match in a proleague format(minus ace). I think it's okay as long as it stays the way it is, so that if a player is used twice, that same player can't be pulled out for the ace match.

TL never forgives

It never forgets

Whenever I play Civ games, I play 1 game for about 2 whole days and then never play it again

Anyone know why 10 minutes before SC2L was supposed to start tonight, the schedule changed and there's now nothing on the schedule for tonight?
