Polt manner muled Naniwa, and then Naniwa said something like: "why so bm ((((" "jk gg"
And then Naniwa and Polt were chatting and smiling after the game and Naniwa didn't return the handshake offering as a continuation of the joke, and people grabbed their pitchforks.
A surprisingly high number of people seemed to miss that. People just want an excuse for their pitchforks.
Sound died. Enjoyed the match between Polt and Nani. Nani could had won if he didn't do so many mistakes, specially those free collosus kills that was just painful to watch, nani's push would prolly had killed Polt then.

It's only BM if Naniwa does it
It's because only one of the two of them is *actually* an asshole
Would that be Polt, after giving Naniwa the thumbs down after their last series? I'm pretty sure that's holy shit so bm
Wait
He did that as a joke because it's Naniwa's famous BM gesture. Have you not seen the gifs of Naniwa doing the thumbs down?
Manner muling is like cursing. If you use it sparingly, it means something and can add emphasis to a victory. If you use it every fucking game like a fucking trigger happy motherfucker, then it loses its fucking meaning and just makes you look like a fucking idiot if you somehow lose.

It is remarkable to observe how Polt gives the thumbs down and drops manner mules and gets nothing but praise, but when nani doesn't shake his hand he is suddently bm.
I still think forums are a social experiment to see how people exposed to globalized media will react to anonymity and freedom of speech.

the loser gives the handshake - otherwise its like an offensive gg.
Honestly, that's quite weird. Imho handshake is a mandatory thing, it should not matter who initiates.
Anyhow in that case naniwa should have gone for handshake. And he didn't.
After all that bm it was perfectly understandable to not shake the hand haha, not sure if you are being serious. The thing with Vortix was just bad taste, but this is different.

Polt did the thumbs down because Naniwa didn't gg in the first game and only 1 g'd in the second game.

Not criticizing Naniwa for the no-handshake after Polt's BM earlier, but the thumbs down wasn't unprovoked. If you watched the Slasher interview, Polt said Naniwa was late to their match, set up in the wrong booth, refused to move, and then the MLG admins had to request Polt to re-setup to accommodate him.

ye after seeing this handshake denial i realized i cheered for the evil side
Dude... Come on... That's not a real bm move, Naniwa is joking and Polt knows it.
dude, it didn't seem like it. polt was offering the handshake three times in a row and looked really disappointed as he got denied the third time, but my comment is not really serious. I think you need to accept the handshake anyways as a competitor, as a sportsman and as a simple human being. it's a little bit frustrating to see but i respect naniwa for his run he did a good job, and made us proud. there are always these people in any sport that are so god damn awesome in the sport they are doing, but just can't behave like sportsmen.
Amazing results for Naniwa though he probably doesnt feel like that atm. Top 4 god damnit! Beating some pretty amazing players and only dropping 4 maps in the entire tournament if I counted it right.
