He also got spoonfed multiple chances and never actually qualified for GSL the real way. It's impressive what he did but anyone would be a fool to think he was truly competitive. | ||

You're just arguing for the sake of arguing now. The game was far from figured out until 2012 when people started to get good. What happened in a game that wasn't figured out is somewhat irrelevant imo. Like, I could have invented the 4gate and won a GSL with it. | ||

Yes I also thought he didnt but it seems he got to ro8 back in 2011 where he lost 0-3 to Mvp. But when I think of successful foreigners in GSL I would say Naniwa showed the most. He actually played when game was all figured out and seasons were much tougher than back in 2011 | ||

Spoonfed or not he was never seeded into ro16 and made it there three times and yes ro8 once as was pointed out. Doing that is more impressive than winning a spot through Code A (back then) | ||

Quite a lot of koreans respected him at that time | ||
