When I see NSH's situation, I first feel happy because of that horrible ceremony where they all left the studio when Polt lost vs. TSL. Then I just feel sad.

Well, TSL is disbanded, and while NSH is on life support and is essentially irrelevant, they still outlived them. They're laying in the hospital bed, attached to life support and various IVs, laughing "haha, where's oGs now? where's TSL now? where's Slayers now? We win!"

Prime just bought a new team house, and still has quite a bit of sponsorship dollars in with 'em.

Isn't NSHS associated with a school in some way? Or at least they were. I'd be surprised if they disband unless something happens to that association.

Hope we're going to have a great match today :-) Would be awesome to see NSHS do well vs LG-IM, but it'll be pretty tough for them though. Guess we'll have to see what shape MadBull is in today! :-D

The drinking age is 19. Jjakji is 19, Tassadar is 20, and I don't know about the rest of their ages. Close enough

Actually no that makes no sense, Mvp isn't playing at DH or HSC, and he will travel with MC when MC goes back to EU since they're both in EU premier. Maybe he's at the doctor getting his bionic wrists installed or something.

Maybe the IM coach realized he doesn't play anyway why not give him a break? The rest of the team should be more than enough to deal with NSHS

I think the main thing is to keep void ray numbers low and hydras don't take bonus damage from them so in a way they can be better than corrupters. Queens are quite beefy against them as well.
This is actually a problem that I legitimately have with swarm hosts. If you get on the back foot and they siege you then you can't break out at all. Go for the counter drop and you have less units, or if you try to break down you get killed by the actual army. However that was a really good game.

thing is, Jjakji was behind by 100 supply at that point lol so chances of him breaking out was essentially 0

Yeah when you're over 100 supply ahead of your opponent you can do whatever the hell you want and win. Swarm Hosts were pretty irrevelant in this case, he could have maxed out on roach drops and ended it through just that if he wanted.
I feel very conflicted about NSH. I'd love to see them do well, but at this rate they simply shouldn't be in the GSTL. They just aren't good enough. It's basically game over for NSH now. Who else do they have? Tasadar?

If HoSeo sends Tassadar, I am officially putting HoSeo coach above Gerrard as worst GSTL coach.
It's truly a battle of incompetence. At least HoSeo coach lets all the players on his awful team play. But using Tassadar, the worst ace probably in the history of Starcraft (Brood War, WoL, and HotS) for the fifth time would be too much to handle. I can't think of an ace who has been continually set and never won a game in the ace position.
Wow, NesTea had so many Roaches, and he was like "Screw you Noob" when engagin on his Natural as counter, instead forcing him to cancel his third. Oh my gosh NesTea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn, I feel so bad for NSH :/ They have to keep participating in these games where they (almost) always get rolled over. I can't see them lasting much longer which is extremely unfortunate. The coach genuinely looks sad.

Need new Terrans? MVP almost took out INnoVation, too bad he didn't know about the power of Hellbat drops/split his SCVs, YoDa won IEM and just needs to train harder, and Fenix just started playing again after not playing for almost a year.

IM has tons of sponsors/travel money, he could come back for GSTL if need be, but IM has such a stacked roster I think they will be fine, seems the only reason they don't dominate GSTL is they save their best builds for individual leagues.

By new terrans I meant more terrans, the ones they have now are fine but it never hurts to have a more diverse roster and they are seriously lacking a reliable terran during teamleagues. Yoda was usually the go to terran and he was damn good at his job. Happy was a decent backup terran and for a while even dreamertt seemed to be coming around. Things have changed though and the terran lineup is now a bit shaky. Jürgen has always been incredibly hit or miss in teamleagues and hasn't been a staple of the regular lineup in ages.
I don't want to see IM become a predictable team where opponents only have to practice for toss and zerg because the chance of them throwing out a terran is small. I'm not saying to forget the players they have now but a few supplemental terrans would do the team some good.

Seriously, Mvp isn't a bad player, but you simply see his mechanics lacking. If he had two working hands, he might be better than Innovation, because noone understands Terran like Mvp does. But I guess IM could really need 1-2 more Terrans, if they want to be one of Koreas topteams.

Not sure if you are mixing him up with MC, who is famous for his amazing offracing skills. But anyways, I didn't mean to say that Mvp doesn't have bad understanding in the other races. But I'd guess there are some toplevel Protoss/Zergs with better understanding in their race than Mvp. For Terran? Not so sure... Like, I haven't seen anyone else going like "ah well, in that situation you actually just get *nonstandard composition XY* and can't lose anymore." Even players like Innovation seem to be mostly about "I guess, I'm just gonna play more standard and hope it works out", when they see something nonstandard.

Need new Terrans? MVP almost took out INnoVation, too bad he didn't know about the power of Hellbat drops/split his SCVs, YoDa won IEM and just needs to train harder, and Fenix just started playing again after not playing for almost a year.
Well, just pick up Innovation after Kespa goes down MUAHAHAHAHAHA!
Seriously, Mvp isn't a bad player, but you simply see his mechanics lacking. If he had two working hands, he might be better than Innovation, because noone understands Terran like Mvp does. But I guess IM could really need 1-2 more Terrans, if they want to be one of Koreas topteams.
mvp actually has a huge understanding in all 3 races .. he was grandmaster to 3 races in kr server ones .. if i remember it correctly? .. i think its a good thing that mvp is bad mechanically .. seriously he'll be dominating if he has good mechanics .. its like combining savior and JD from broodwar .. i think mvp's game sense right now is unmatched by anyone in the entire sc2 scene
Like, I haven't seen anyone else going like "ah well, in that situation you actually just get *nonstandard composition XY* and can't lose anymore." Even players like Innovation seem to be mostly about "I guess, I'm just gonna play more standard and hope it works out", when they see something nonstandard.
well i forget where did i read it but mvp was GM in 3 races in kr server as i said one time but picked terran as a main .. i didnt know mc was good in offracing .. i know hes zerg is good i think since he is a zerg pro player before he became toss pro player ,, i saw he's terran once in his stream and it was fine ..
i just thought that whenever i see mvp's games he doesnt make the flashiest micro or macro .. he just does some crazy strategy and improvisation .. as i see hes good in improvising and he is flexible in playing ..
Mvp's off-racing is boss. For example, his Zerg owned MarineKing, if I recall correctly. I am not too sure about Mvp's Protoss, but it is definitely KR GM level. Mvp could be a pro-gamer with any race, even random (considering he was KR GM with Random too...)
Don't be fooled... Mvp's macro is top-notch, you aren't going to see many people with better macro than him. Out of all the Terran players, I can only count a couple of players who can equal Mvp in macro... that would be TaeJa (during his peak, his macro was ridiculous... now TaeJa has wrist issues), Bomber (sometimes), Flash (arguably superior to Mvp), and INnoVation. I am not too sure about the other KeSPA Terrans, but that is what I believe. Mvp was pretty much the first true macro Terran.
As for micro, his splits used to be on par with MarineKing's. His drop play was on par with MMA's (just look up some of Mvp's 2011 TvZ lategame and you'll see that it's true). Then he had his wrist problems. Also, I think a big reason why people think Mvp's micro isn't great is because they see Mvp playing online (Iron Squid or even WCS EU Round of 32), and they don't realize how much lag affects his micro. Right now, it seems his wrists are better but not at 100%, yet look at Mvp vs. Stephano G4 (WCS EU Finals). His micro and splits were even better than the splits I've seen from MarineKing. Mvp's micro is fine, but there are other players who really shine in micro. (INnoVation's Hellion micro was godly.)
In terms of game sense, Mvp has BW Flash-like game sense. His nickname is the Game Genie Terran because he always scans right outside of his base and sees 20 Banelings morphing.
However, I think none of these characteristics truly represents Mvp's capabilities. Even though he is a complete player (micro, macro, game sense), his true strength lies in his championship mindset. Not only does this guy know how to prepare for long series, I think you will never ever ever ever ever see Mvp get tilted. Ever. His mental fortitude allowed him to win situations such as the Squirtle GSL Finals, and it's also what allows him to keep coming back again and again even after metagame changes (which can drastically hurt players like DongRaeGu, who simply was better with Ling/Bane/Muta than Brood Lord/Infestor) and health issues and the trend towards higher skill (who can argue that Hyperdub back in 2011 could even come close to Maru in 2013? I chose low-tier players on purpose).
Mvp essentially plays his own game. He doesn't care whether or not Protoss is imba (3-1 PartinG), whether or not an amazing new style is discovered (3-4 Life), whether or not elephants arrive (3-2 Rain), whether or not someone is hyped as the best RTS player of all time (2-3 INnoVation). I think that's the truly scary part of Mvp... he's never down, even when he should be.
(I mean, come on, this guy reached his peak already. He has a serious spine condition which renders him unable to practice or even feel his own clicks! The KeSPA switch resulted in an influx of extremely mechanically talented and hard-working fresh blood to the SC2 scene. Mvp's dominance occurred in 2011, when people didn't really know what a 3rd base was... Clearly, this guy should be irrelevant like FruitDealer. He's not.)

You expect another season of GSTL? I don't.
Unified Proleague 2014 is pretty much everyone's dream
Team8 can absorb one of the poorer GSTL teams
Yes! A unified proleague would be sick. Can't wait to see how much PvP would occur in LG-IM vs SKT.

im a mvp fan but his macro is certainly not better than flash and innovation .. mkp's micro has always been a little better than mvps and innovation has no doubt better micro than mvp's .. but i agree that his game sense is top notch ... he is just so scary in series games .. he just doesnt crack under pressure he even perseveres more when he loses .. champions mentality is that what its called? idk but his good .. he's always been like playing his own game all the times .. but right now i dont think mvp is the best .. but he will certainly be part of the best .. as everyone says you cant count him out in any championship games .. mostly always been in the semi's,quarter or grand finals even not winning .. i mean no ones as consistent as that in sc2
LOL. I traded Maru for Losira and then I decided not to trade Nestea off my fantasy team this week because I thought, well he'll never play in GSTL anyways so 1 point at worst. Terminated myself quite nicely.

Prime must be even more embarrassed for being the only team to lose to them...

The funny thing is that I cannot, for the life of me, remember an Mvp all-kill.
That's okay, Mvp all-kills GSLs.
He all-killed zergs during the race wars at the start of 2011:
